Rugby stadiums
Here you go - lots of RUGBY STADIUMS
Welcome, careful of the trols they lick you and then swallow you whole..
Dankie Freddie, dis nou darem 'n bakgat bladsy .
@Sueflaki Yup, Ellis Park is a great stadium. As far as the All Blacks are concerned, Ellis Park is quite the graveyard. The ABs barely manage one win for every 4 matches played there. This is an abysmal record for the ABs and I suspect SARU know this which may explain this years fixture for the SA'n leg of the AB's RC tour. Me, I prefer SA'n stadia where the ABs dominate. Loftus springs to mind. I wasnt even born the last time SA beat the ABs at Loftus (1970). Newlands is another happy hunting ground for the ABs but for shear scale, atmosphere and effect, FNB cant be beat.
For me, I would have to say Eden Park is my favourite stadium of all. I live within a good stones throw of Eden Park and the vibe that a Test match generates is second to none. To be fair, I havent been to too many rugby games abroad but of the few I have been to (Twickenham in the late 90s and Newlands several years ago) I still rate Eden Park as the best.
Must agree, Mike!!
55' flat screen with awesome sound is more than sufficient for me.
Add a nice braai with friends to the mix, a fridge full of cold beverages and I'm a happy chappy!!
Sometimes too happy I guess ... but without the issues of driving home.
Love to turn the volume right up during the All Black haka!!!
Certainly sets the mood for the test against them!!
