Dispite being fast asleep in the first half the Mighty Stormers only lost 25-17. Given that the bulle were give a try that was no try make that 21-17 as they would have had a penalty. Hence the Stormers outscored the bulle 2 tries to 0. What a bad mistake by the TMO !!!  Who was the twit?

However we lost the game because Jantjes had an unually bad afternoon  with his goal kicking. Hence a rusty Stormers could  have won this game playing well under par. Facts are fact and no one can dispute what I have said.

The return of Tiaan and Etzebeth as well as Burger should add huge clout to this pack. Tiaan will remedy any shortcomings in the scrum (we always scrum better when he is there) and also poor throwing in by the rusty Deon Fourie at hooker. Bekker and Etzebeth will rule the roost when the ball is accurately thown in (Add in Vermuelen and Burger etc).

There are no fundamental problems that cannot be corrected.

Morne was key for the bulle. I warned ou snapster not to run down Morne so much. Funny also the two best backs were Jean and Habana the two old hands!

Arno Botha looked good. Hougaard did zero to ensure his spot for the Boks.

Poor quality game.

Beeno

Nice try - I do not think you can only blame the forwards.  The biggest disaster was at flyhalf and the change there would cause the elimination of 80% of the problems in the Stormers game.    However, I always have a problem with Fourie at hooker.   H has always been a poor line thrower and the qustion remains as to the stability of the Storemrs scrum when he is around.   I frankly prefer him at 6.

The other problem with the Stormers scrummaging is De Kock Steenkamp - does he really do his duty in that field.   I would move Elstadt to lock instead.

Now - while Liebenberg is not available - I will play Bezuidenhout at 2 - move Elstadt to lock until Etzebeth returns and play Fourie at 6 and Armand at 7 until Burger returns.  That should add value to the Stormer forwards.

But - most importantly - I would replace Jantjies with Grant or in the case the latter is not available I would play Swiel at flyhalf.   I would keep the rest of the backline intact and under no circumstances bring De Jongh into the team.  The latter is only slightly less disastrous than Jantjies - but they are indeed a pair of really bad players.

Ou Beeno in denial..........again. He cannot come to terms with two facts. The so-called mighty Stormers were completely over-shaddowed by the Bulls. The Bulls only took their feet of the pedal for a short while but then pulled away again. The sooner he stop blaming the ref for every loss, the sooner he will realise that the mighty Stormers have a lot of flaws.

Beeno ou fart face. You can thank your lucky stars that the Bulls did not have the best of games either, otherwise your guys would have kakked, mate.

Nei man my bru, you are quite stupid with this statement.

Who are you that you are a better judge than the officials.  If you are that good why then not you apply for that job?

When your team lose, you accept that as a man you do not go finding all sorts of nonsense excuses and blaming officials.

See, my team won today but only just.

Beeno, we lost. End of. We will probably loose again this coming weekend. WP needs a proper tight-head and a fly-half of some skill. We have neither, so our woes will continue. We will win more than we loose, but we will loose out on the silverware. They should never have let the Cat go!

If only Bryce Lawrence had been fair...

If only Morne had got all his kicks...

If only the TMO had got it right....

If only Schalk and Hitsabit had been there...

If only Beeno would actually admit a side he supports was well and truly thumped!!

@kaledfreddie,

Boks played 12 tests, they won 7 and according to beeno aka storminged, that is 70%, and he posted many many posts arguing that, LMFAO, :oD

sad thing is, that dosent even crack the top 100 dumbest thing hes ever said, which is pretty scary, or sad or both,  o_O

Keep dreaming Beenkop, the better side won on the day and I am a neutral.

Jean did sweet stuff all, all game - you have to be kidding that he was one of the best backs. He was neither good nor poor, he was nothing.

Olivier, Venter and de Allende were all better

Excuses, Excuses ,Excuses!!!!!!!! Wahahahahaha love it when the Stormpies lose and trying to make excuses!!!!

What happened to #boeliedaaibul? Wahahahaha so the Stormpies couldn't match up against the Bulls's physicality. Stormpies got anihilated in the scrums and proved of that is in the injury count

Boys and bog annie please oaks lets keep this real.

Facts are facts and apart from some dismal bleats have been totally ignored.

I note that the commentators and also those previewing the matches on TV agreed that it was no bulle try. So no one can dispute that. Hence score now stands at 21-17. Then even if Jantjes had only kicked at 50% we would have won.
As I said Stormes were fast asleep in first half and yet could easily have won - as was noted by the TV commentators as well.

So please oaks do us all a favour and dont make complete twits of yourselves denying my very justifiable observations. If you have misplaced objections rather make them as that would indicate you are at least trying rather than bleating away hopelessly.

I expect to see a great improvement in the pack when Tiaan. Etzebreth and Burger are fit.

Ou maaik bleats away about jantjes but how many tries did the bulle actually score- NIL.

I have always held a good opinion of Morne whilst acknowledging his drop in form due to relentless over playing for years. I was not surprised by his man of the match performace unlike ou maaik and snapster who ended up with huge egg on visogs re Morne!!!

Jantje's total failure with the boot was a surprise as he is normally a pretty effective goal kicker. Perhaps he has not been focused over the last few week due to his fathers death. Those who have lost a father know the agony of this.

To hear the assessments being made about players one woud lthink we are near the end of the season rather than just starting.     I wouldn't be surprised if some twits think the queens are going to win the comp!!!!! Keo is beside himself with joy and coming after his character assassination of Luyt is at an all time low. S othe Forc ewould also beaten by Griquas - get over it oaks. The way the got in through the backdoor is a disgrace and will be even if they were to win all their Super 15 matches.

Bokbe. Once Tiaan is back in the front row and Etzebeth at lock we will have little problems with the scrum.  Ou Alistair believing wee ntubeni and a small hooker like Deon are adequate back ups shows once again his lack of appreciation of the game. Unfortunately Deon is also rusty in throwing the ball in and that cost us as well. With Bekker, Etzebeth, Vermuelen and Schalk/Etzebeth we are the best lineout combo in the tournament once Tiaan is there to throw the ball in.

So please oaks you can clearly see your pathetic  bleats dont enrich the discussion like my realistic evaluations do. Try and up your game - you are sounding  a bit like ou rooitwit!

Beeno

Kindly accept that that Bulls try is on the record books as a try.   No amount of argueing in that regard would helpat all.   Your comment on the goalkicking failures of Jantjies is laughable - Jantjies under pressure has a 50-50 chance of being successful with kicks at goal.   Whilst there is no pressure he is normally successful.   In his new team environment he was under pressure to prove himslef and that pressure caused him to self-destruct.

For the rest accept defea like a man and don't try to justify the bad performance of the Stormers -  they were indeed poor and would have been easy meat for the Sahrks and the Cheetahs as well.

Beeno remember that the JDV try also came off a slight knock on from Groom.

Bokbe it was no knock on as  the replay showed.

I hope we next meet with each side at full strength and we shall see.

I agree thuogh the the first half was about as bad as I ahve seen the stormers play for many a moon. So sluggish - amazing really. They obviously got a rocket at half time and were a lot better.

No ou maaik it was a ref mistake and no try. Just because it is in the books doesnt make it legit. Mike please - Jantjes has kicked in a side - the Lions  - where they generally were loosing and every kick was vital - which equates to pressure.

Your one eyed commentary is a laugh! Try and be objective please Mike.

All this guppies chest beating will lead to some concave chests.
