Jauzy can you see where importing all these players is leading you. Italy has just beaten France. Too many players in France are not french!

Hands of Elstadt - a future Bok and a very good one at that.

jauzy seems to be up to date with all SA players signing contracts wih French clubs.   If they play long enough in France - theFrench may be able to pick a virtually fiull team of ex-Sout Africans to represent France.

The French was shockingly poor in some aspects of the game against Italy - their ball-handling in particular was bad at times.

Would hate to see Elstadt go - hope he stays in SA.

This is bad news these bloody foreign clubs must leave our players alone. The be fair to Elstadt, he was about the only player not invited to the Bok training camps under Meyer - another Meyer fuck up considering that he invited practically every player and more from each province.

Huge loss, this guy was my favourite to play 7 for the Boks, hard and uncompromising

Saffex

To be fair to Meyer - I think Elstadt was injured at the time the camp was held - can vaguely remember someting to that effect.

Saffex,

To be fair here, it's the player who makes the decision, not the team. Everything the French teams are doing is perfectly fine and legal in a free market like sports. It's Elstadt, and Habana you should be mad at...or maybe even SA clubs for not ponying up the dough.

Nope Mike he was fit and well at the time and I pointed out my disgust at his exclusion at the time.

It was very poor on Meyer's part given he practically invited every member of the various S15 squads, including non S15 payers like Steph du Toit, Serfontein and Kebble.

It was snubbing of the hghest order of a quality player. Hell even a player like Quinn Roux playing Vodacom Cup rugby was invited and rightly so - so why leave out Elstadt, it was pathetic
