So the SA 7 have just lost to Britain team.
Victory was at hand but the same disease affecting 15 has reared its ugly head. SA 7 is no team, they cant play as a team. They are disjointed.
Players do not want to play together. A lot of them lack basic professionalism, they cant push aside their personal feelings and ideologies.
So far from Fidji. Fidji are a big family, they speak the language of the place and their ancestors, not an imported language that brought nothing.
Britain has a team. They have a lot of support to each other, they want to play as a team.
One action marked the match: number 8 raced toward the try line. He was tackled. He benefited from one support player. The others did not want to make the effort. They did not follow up. When they finally arrived on the spot, one guy prefered to hurl a pass past the line to ruin the action.
Guy preferred to botch the chances of his team to win a gold medal rather than to help to score.
From that point, it was over.
There is no SA team. They cant play together. They do not speak the language of the land. They prefer to sacrifice a chance to win a gold medal rather than making a country they hate proud of them.

Oh get real! That was obviously a vital point in the game, but there was nothing between the 2 teams and GB had a bit of luck in the end. Well done England and Partners. Go Fiji. Hard luck Bokkies. Hope you can beat the Japs after the disappointment.

Well done GB.Beats me how a team cobbled together in May without any tournament play can make the Final!Makes a mockery of our NZ team who've been together all year!!

Not hard enough to overcome major troubles and blend in as a team.
SA players were superior but 7 is about fluidity and the flow a team is able to sustain.
Big guys hurling a pass beyond the touch line when two meters off the try line does not help.
SA cluster was plagued with players ready to ruin chances to pass their personal concerns.
Taking a look at the english roster tells it all: you could not tell if there is no english players in the team. Yet they had their own guys. But they assimilated. They took up the saying when in Rome, do as the Romans.
All of them speak english, a language from England.
The SA list gives another conclusion: easy to notice the intruders, the guys who hate so much their country they are going to be ready to ruin collective efforts.
Needless to say, they do not speak a SA language. Quite a problem with people who do not want to assimilate.
The finals gave us a moving moment: The Fidji team singing their song. They speak fidjian the language of their ancestors. So different from SA.
Silver is better than bronze.
