 Notshe can hold his head high. Best SA player on the field tonight.

 Notshe is a player with huge potential - something which April, Mnisi and Ntubene are not.   The ball retention and defense were poor - end of story.  

 Mnisi was poor and I think April let his nerves get the better of him. Give him time. Scarra wasn't good either. Let the team play together more and they'll gel defensively. Ismael was solid.

Gosh HM sure got that one wrong.

 Rugby 365b Man of the match: JD Schickerling may have struggled to get his timing going with his hooker, however, he was in good form when it came to stealing line-out ball. Francois Brummer, Piet van Zyl and Rudolph Snyman made an immense impact when they came onto the field. For England, their loose trio of Sam Jones, Matt Kvesic and Don Armand worked their socks off while Nick Tompkins was full value in midfield. Semesa Rokoduguni showed just how dangerous he is with ball in hand. However, our award goes to a player who was simply all over the park and could not put a foot wrong for the entire 80 minutes - Sikhumbuzo Notshe.

One might almost conclude from all this hype that we have not just lost our first match at home against an NH country team since our loss to the Lions in the dead rubber match in 2009.

 This is what happens when you put a bunch of individual  players into a team. They will do a lot better once they actually become a team. Good comeback,  but not enough. Minisi worst of the lot. Coenie, Piet and Brommer did better than I expected. They tried to do too much too soon.

Draad - I am afraid that Mnisi is a liability that no team can afford.  April is just not up to standard as well and I do not think at 25 years of age he will get better.   Am afraid the only players who showed anything of real substance was Notshe and Schickerling,   However the other loosies were not really up to standard.         

 I think they were trying too much too soon. Once they were settled and hitting it up with the big lads they looked okish. You have to earn the right to go wide. Rashivenge didn't police the rucks well and we didn't clear out nearly well enough in the firsthalf.

 But I thought South Africa had enough talent to field like 3 or 4 international quality sides...

 At least 6 according to given wisdom. And they are more or less interchangeable. Just as long as they have no test experience and did well playing the sunwolves.

  Delighted to see them lose.
