No reason for that as actually the same course of action would have been advised.
The money comes from rich owners. One of them is going to be parted with his money, which makes the league richer no matter what. Anti rugby games, poor results will not change that a bit. At the end, there is more money within the french league.
Take a look at SA: it only took a few generations for that large bit of space to be put on the path of depletion. All the wealth saved by previous generations over millenia has been shipped away.
Just think if the quota people in SA had been in charge all the times, 100m deep gold mines, most of the wealth still within SA.
No better man than a SA coach to ensure that this rich owner is fleeced off to the maximum to the benefit of the french rugby league.
Here a progression: invite as many as possible rich foreign owners in the french league, couple them with a SA staff. They will end broken in no time. To the benefit of the french league.

I must say, Trad's time here hasn't been a total waste. He is beginning to speak English! Imagine that, the colonial language bellowing out of his mouth. This has to be a low point in that regard.

People in SA speak colonial languages. In other places, people speak their native language or foreign languages. People should not expand the SA case to every single nation.
The SA rugby team is a globalist scheme. Players can not even speak local languages, barred the quota players who do not belong to the team.
Terminate rugby in SA. Yes to equality of output, no to equality of opportunity. SA rugby had an opportunity to put out a local rugby. They failed.
Terminate SA rugby. It is a globalist product. Favour localized rugbys like Argentina or Kenya. AR and KE are the future.

What colonial language is Afrikaans - not Dutch at all. The Dutch people will not understand Afrikaans - because it is a mixture with inputs from Malays and local languages. So your statement is really totally incorrect. Fact is Afrikaans was first spoken by local Coloureds and then found their way into households.
My grandfather still read the High Dutch Bible and sang Dutch Psalms - but never spoke Dutch otherwise.
