I was watching Heineken Cup games tonight and saw the games between Saracens and Munster - as well as the one between Racing Metro and Edinburgh.   What was really amazing was -

*   the fact that the POM commentators got the names and pronouncement of the SA players correct; and

*   there is a real  possibility that Afrikaans may soon be in the majority language spoken by some teams' players.

Watching these games, as well as the French top 14 and similar xompetitions in other countries in Eurpoe the question arises - how many SA players are in fact playing professional rugby in the northern hemisphere countries - my own rough estimate is in th vicinity of 50 or more.

And the sigings are coming through thick and fast.   One thing is sure though - the clubs will sign quality players - not dolts like Jantjies and De Jongh.
