I agree, ou Maaik, Pollard should be starting for the Bulls. He was a bit shaky in the first few games but he's made a difference every time he's come on since then. I also thought Francois Hougaard was looking more like his old self and then he started kicking everything and he looked hopeless again.
I'd find a place for Marcell Coetzee in your SA team of the week. H e put up a brave show in a lost cause.

...not so clever mike...surely Sias Ebersohn deserves a mention in dispatches for dispatching the hapless Bulls with his goal kicking display...been very solid at home the Force this year and surely some credit must go to the playmaker at fly half...

Mike, Frans Malherbe does not deserve to be in there. Stormers scrum was not dominant, Marcel Van Der Merwe was better for the Bulls.

Frans Malherbe was dominated....as was Kitshoff.

Poor old Oom 8,7, 5, 4. Use your fingers Oom, with a little practice you should be able to count to 15.
Watch the silly old coot rush to the edit function.

Shezza
I only catered for starters - Insofar as tight heads are concerned I had to consider 0 Jannie du Plessis, Werner Kruger, Maks van Dyk and Malherbe and Malherbe was better than any of those.
Du Plessis and Kruger was shit poor and Maks van Dyk and Malherbe the only considerations. All round Malherbe was better than Van Dyk.
I mentioned Pollard - if he started he would have been my choice at 10 - but he did not.

But you still haven't figured out the other point....Not exactly Miss Marple are you. Hahaha.....keep trying Ooom.

Marcel Van Der Merwe had a half, Malherbe had roughly 60 mins. You could get away with picking Marcel Van Der Merwe.
I'm sorry Moz, but Mike burnt you there! "Small things amuse small minds."

Gosh and there I was thinking I had heard that line before. Nice edit Oom, it took a while but you got there in the end.

Another favourite finds his place. Damian De Allende..If Mikey likes you, you can do no wrong hey.
Tim Swiel good at flyhalf. Madness.Elgar Watts was better than Swiel but he is not one of your favourites is he Mike?
Please list your reasons for handing Swiel the honour. I saw him fuck a few relatively easy kicks at goal up but besides that, what did he do?..and please, we are tired of hearing "the man outside him was so bad..." bullshit!

boklogic
Swirl did not do much wrong and converted all the Sharks points in the game. However, the alternatives were all poor and there was not much in evidence to select from.
In the case of De Allende he set up the De Villiers try and had some really good plays.
Steyn was shit poor - the worst center on display.

Steyn was the worst center on display don't you mean Mike.

Moz...the two Stormers props that you mentioned in your blog have failed to deliver in each and every game thus far.
Neither of them deserve to be mentioned and you have to update your TV network to get the latest games not reruns buddy.clevermike did you notice how Pollard caught the up and under....the one that hit him on the head.
Shocking display of rugby from all SA sides....I do not envy Meyers task ahead of him.
I am dreading the Four Nations season.
