This is a tale largely wide spread on this board.
like We simply didn’t take advantage of our possession and forward dominance.
It is weird that a term like domination is so cheapened in a country with the history of SA .
So weird.
SA rugby forwards were never dominant against IR.
IR got them to play as they (Irish) wanted. That is dominance. SA rugby never managed to endanger IR. IR was never put outside their comfort zone.
Bomb squad is dead. The current coach has shifted.
Game was played with the same template as the game against AR.
SA rugby players overspent themselves during the first half trying to shock the Irish. It did not work. The IR forwards contained the unleashing revealing it as squandering of energy and resources.
SA rugby forwards tried hard. IR forwards made them try too hard. Before half time, SA rugby players were consumed, they had no gas left.
At return from the lockersroom, they were punished and manhandled.
No dominance.
And SA rugby showed they do not know how to fight against dominance. When they are not dominant, they have nothing left.
