 Beast has not been out for that long Mike.Add Lambie to your list.Guys need to get match hardened. Thye should not start comebacks at test level.

In the case of Beast the problem is he was out with a neck injury - ffor a prop s erious problem.  I will add Lambie to the list as suggested

 Mike one can only hope the injury to beast is not serious. Would he have been included in the squad if it was. Surely they know up front what his medical condition is. That would be a blow.
I agree with Draad if M eyer picks wisely the match 23 is a good one.

Latest injury report -
Matfield is out for the first game and a temporary replacement lock will be announced soon.
Etzxebeth and Malherbe has participated fully in the training sessions and will do so until Thursday.  In an effort to give them some game time before the test - they will play for WP on Friday night and then return to the squad.
De Villiers is not all clear yet - but they are apparently giving him until next week to get fully match fit.
There is no news about De Allende - so he is apparently fully recovered.   He was out of rugby for a shorter period than Malherbe and Etzebeth and will not be released to play for W this weekend.
In general - good news from the medical front since Matfield is not a loss in any event.          

Hope de Allende is fit to play, he looks like a good player. De villers has not been cleared so is not available & wee matfield is in the rest home & is also not available . I can hear the excuses already but IMO the Boks will do fine against the Argies & the rest will do the "injured " players good. It is a tough test season.
