Maaik, that's not too good a team.
Du Preez was better than Fred, Reinach was poorish, Kriel and Whiteley mediocre.

RE: Cheaters vs Snaaarks.

Reinach kicks directly into touch. Then comes back with a wonderful tackle on the slow Venter. Not a scrumhalf but could have been a wing.
.
The egg flows Fantasy Flop.

Robert Du Preez was fly half of the round. Zellinga only got me 24 points in fantasy.

I had Pollard on the bench as flyhalf and could not change that earlier. He only got 9 points thus far - so he did flop even on fantasy level.
I am not the fantasy flop Mozart carried on about - is still in the top 10% of the Foxsport comp as a whole. The man is a maniac and a bad one at that.

Draad
Senatla better than Van Wyk, who scored two tries and Rhule - who scored a try and assisted with the scoring of another try? I am not sure about that one.
I also think Shaun was good - but he made a number of iffy kicks - which influenced my thinking on the matter. However, I am prepared to change that one.

Mike, it was Senatla and Venter's first starts this season, hopefully they can build on that. I'm not saying they should be in the TOTW.

Reinach, Lambie, Jordaan, Labuschagne, Potgieter, Vorster, Venter, Swiel, Jessie Kriel, Allende, Lomp, Malherbe, Stepfontein, Goosen, Coetzee, Kleintjie Kriel, Combrink.........a selection of the flops you supported.
.............a selection of the successes you have supported. Gosh I can't think of one.

Morne Steyn, Fat Fransie, De Jongh, Willem Alberts, Matfield (after his return tafter retirement, Jannie du Plessis are some of your proven major flops.
You have NO proof except your lies to say some of the players on the above list have failed - the following players in particular:-
Reinach, Lambie, Jordaan, Labuschagne, Vorster, Venter, Allende, Lomp, Malherbe, Goosen, Coetzee, Kleintjie Kriel, Combrink
They have frequently been a hell of a lot better than your failures you supported.
Matter of fact the above list shows your prejudice against players and the lies you spread about them are endless. So try again - village idiot.

Morne Steyn won the Lions series, dominated the 2009 TN. Matfield MOM in the WC final. frans kicked the crucial penalty to win the WC final. De Jongh has never settled at international level....I'll concede. Alberts and Jannie both very succesful international players who held their places in the Bok team.
...
Basically my team are proven performers your team has never performed at international level.

Some have some have not - proven internationals should not be based on their performances years ago - they became flops because they over-stayed their welcome. Some of the players I have supported was never selected by our deluded coach - they would have been international players in any other country - bar the Meyer's and Coetzee's version of dump coaches.
However, you are known for having not only kicking mania - but also aged sportsman mania and support has beens all the time - so I take it from whence it comes.

I see Fay Fransie played for Montpellier in a game won by Brive. He was subbed at minute 57 - was that in your book an early sub? was he subbed because as per normal he was utterly SLOW and Useless?
Stade Francais is playing later today and useless Morne is on the bench again. He is too poor to start for his club - yet according to you he is Springbok material.
The above says it all about your favourites.

On other threads SA posters think Pollard isn't much good but I am watching the Blues vs. Bulls game and Pollard has a very heavily strapped left knee so there is no way he is back to his best physically yet. He had a decent game & still punts for more than 60 meters on occasion . In short don't write him off yet.

Nor do I......he had a horrible injury and a calamitous stay in hospital almost losing an arm. But he's back on the field and still one of the few players to trouble the ABs in the last 5 years.

Nobody is saying unjust things about Pollard - and everyone is hoping that some decent coaching will save him from the scrapheap he is on at present. He was ruined by Meyer and Ludeke and there is some hope that Smith will help out - after all the latter turned Zeilinga from a very average flyhalf into a useful one.
If he continues on present level he is going to flop badly and end up as a Morne clone 0 nothing could be worse than that one .
