The last 2 times SA was in the Final were in 2012 which hey won and due to a typical Estehuizen foul up thy lostthe 2014 match,

I think SA has a good chance of beating NZ tomorrow.

Only player that does not impress me is Erasmus at 13 - he is too small for the role - would be better suited to wing

Cupido or Malgas would have been far better options at 13 - both have made an impact when playing in the centres - Erasmus has not

Mike, a few days ago you said the Boks would “massacre” the ABs if they met in the final!

Now it’s “has a good chance”!!

Getting cold feet??

By the way last night the 2012 final between the Under 20 teams of the AB's and Springboks played each other was on Suersport, In that game there was a number of players who later became Springboks were playing. Top of the list waas P-S du Toit who had a brilliant game and was by some distance the best performer. His one ball-carriers of about 35 meters put he SA Juniors on the front foot and as a result teu scored theor first try,

Te second player of note was Pollard - who at 17 years of age replaced the useless youger brother of Jantjies as flyhalf, Pollard had a good game - but as was custim at the time ws kicking the ball far too often and he also missed 3 of the kicks at goal out of 6 attempts. Howecver a few backline attacks showed that Pollard was going to be a top class flyhalf in future,

Then here was Kitshoff - who demolished the JuniotR A B;s scrumming wot many penalties resulting from it,

Lastly there were Serfontein - who was the ebst cebter on dispay abd scored the Juniors second try. I always liked Serfontein as center

By the way both Pollard and erontein is in the Bulls squad for the URC series,

Te only other final the SA Juniors played in since 2012 was in 2014 against England, The English team was leading the score 20-19. Abot 5 minute before the end of the match the SA Juniors were atatcking deep in the English 22. Esterhuizen was at 12 that day, With an open tryline in front of him the ball was passed to him - a perfect pass that any player would catch, However, the slob knocked the ball on and a try-scoring opportunity went down the drain - so the Springboks lost in the final 20-19, It was not the last time Eserhuizen made a similar disgrace of himself - it also happened when he played for the Sharks and for he S rin gboks and is te reason why he is not a test player's arse - or perhaps he is,

Imagine hating a player so much that you're still bringing up an error he (allegedly) made at U/20 level a decade later.

I do not hate any player - I just look at his real record starting in 2014 to date and Esterhuizen is one of he most over-rated players I have ever seen. That is why in 20 tests he never scored a try and in one opportunity he had in tests - he buggrtrf up same way he did in 2014.

No I know why Mike hate AE, he messed in the juniors.

I think in that same game it was Kolbe that couldn't clear his kick and we lost to Wales.

It was a really poor kick and Wales counter to score.

I blamed Kolbe for that lost and hated him for many years.

But now being a father and knowing that players make mistakes. You just have to hope they learn from it and getting better at making the right decisions.

Kolbe has which is evident.

Players that don't learn is Earl Rose and also golf club stealer. Lifting people's expensive golf drivers from their bags.

So let's see if these kids have their heads on and lets hope they make more the right decisions rather than the wrong ones

The game I referred to was the 2014 final between England/ Kolbe did not play Under 20 rugby in 2014 - he plaed in only one match in 2013 as an Under 20 match which could have been against Wales, I was doscussing the Under 20 series where SA was in the finals and not in series of hich there ere only finals includin g the SA Juniors - namely in 2012, 2014 and now tomorrow, Incidentally the first test match in which Kolby played was only in 2018.

The first test Esterhuizen played in was in late May 2018 against Wales in 2018, He had two carries in Traffic that he gained circa 15metes in both cases, However in both cases there were turnovers and the Welsh counter-attacked and as a result the Spin gboks actually lost territory,
