yeah right! i just dont get some you people. under meyer we have only lost 3 of our last 22 tests! he now has a 75% win ration which sets him in 4th place over jake, peter, mallet and anyone that matters. we are scoring tries to boot! so why all the neg surrounding him. i hate to be a ahole but most of our fans are dumbazzed mudafuggas!

Now put some context on the matches.

A score is not the only part of the story......

Aag OK, you got me, but why did you omit the first couple of tests in 2012?
The 2 Losses and 2 draws in 7 games. Alters the picture a bit. Why would you skew the facts like that?
BTW, I'm not too worried about the Boks under Meyer.

 Gonzo
Sorry - but in 29 tests under Meyer the results were as follows:-
Wins     -     22Losses  -      5Draws   -      2
That represents the following :
Wins    -     75,86%Draws   -     6.9%Losses  -     17,44%
I think the unease of some site members are that too many of our wins were marginal and by less than 7 points - in other words the results could have gone the way of the opposition.   This year alone 3 of the 5 wins fell in that category and that against teams rated must lower than the Spribngboks.   That set the alarm bells ringing.
Obviously Meyer is under pressure and further losses this year is going to add to the pressure.    In analyzing the situation objectively - the selection of too many older players without regard to actual performances adds to the pressure and I think that Meyer should rather change the team after the RC and start afresh.
If he keeps the present team and loses tests this year - he will be under serious pressure indeed.   At this stage though I would say there is no real need for his replacement - but things can change towards the end of the RC though.

i wanted to illustrate the streaj we've been on. these are the vast majority of our total tests under meyer cobsidering there have been 29 of them. so it shows just how good we have been. australia beat us once in 2012 and apart from that no other team has beaten us at all, england and argies got closest with a draw. i think that saus a helluva lot about what meyer has done coz we were easy pickings under peter and had no develoment of players in those 4 years. i just think credit needs to be given to him.

Accep ted - but there are big hurdles ahead and a fuirther 4 losses in the RC wll show a slide in performances and would be suicidal.

Fair point Gonzo, and I agree. Even if you include the shaky start in 2012, it still does not look too bad. Pity we don't have a real good 3 and a real 13 though. We can live with the s hortcomings in the other positions.

"I apologise for probing whether gonzou is Card"

Why is it that important to you and Draad, Gonzo the Bonzo is no mole, he contributes on a regular basis unlike lazy me and he is fun to read. We can do with some fun, afterall, there's some stereotypes around who make for dull reading. Furthermore, he

doesn't pretend to know rugby ....he KNOWS rugby.

You go Gonz!

Denny, its just my curiosity getting the better of me. I have had some run-ins with Card in the past and now with Gonzo as well, but I still like reading his/their posts , but I agree that he (Gonzo) knows his rugby and surely is no mole. Even supposed moles on here contribute in a positive way. It looks like the days are gone when posters registered here just for the sake of causing trouble. Both Gonzo and Sun Tzu adds value to the forum and the site is the better for it...and that goes for all the posters on this site. We have an excellent mix on here and I enjoy reading most of the stuff and I ignore the stuff I don't like without comment. I do like a nice fight however, so I also like to stir the pot a bit from time to time.

PS, why was it so important to you to unmask Jalapeno as Rooinek?

But to be fair ou gonzou makes a point or two.

"PS, why was it so important to you to unmask Jalapeno as Rooinek?"     It wasn't important. I simply exposed him without a great deal of questioning and fuss.....I came out and declared who he was finish and klaar. Besides, Rooinek had a sharply different approach as Jalapeno than what Gonzo has if he is 'Card......trust you get my drift

Yep, thanks Denny. My intention was never to be overly rude towards either Card or Gonzo. I might have stepped over the lines a bit, but ou Gonzo is a big boy and I'm sure he's no worse for wear.

Well Draad, most of us get carried away at times....and I do plead guilty. As for our Gonzo , well the matured man that he is can mix it with the best and I'm sure whatever you said didn't cause him any loss of sleep and there'd be no hard feelings.

Der u go, Denny the peacemaker

Bozo.......its more about how useless the Boks have been since the EOYT, where we sneaked past the likes of Ireland, Scotland and France. We then start this year with what should have been a loss to Wales and two pathetic performances against the Argies.

This all co-insides with clueless Meyer's recall of all the old farts and we are on track to lose all 4 tests against Oz and NZ.......so what do you say to that clueless Bozo

I'd sack Meyer now if I was in charge......the guy is clearly out of touch at every level
