You kiwis still trotting out the world cup you burgled in the most scandalous way in rugby history. If you were wise you would try and pretend it never happned. Scandalous stuff from the kiwis. How about a photo of wee mcaaaw with the british madam - the one who gave him the boot ? Bwahahhaahhahahahaha
Beeno taking no lip from delusional kiw bird brains.

So is the reason Matfield is coming back in the saffa team to give them someone who actually remembers winning a game against Richie lo these many years ago ! Must hurt to be a bok fan knowing that memories are all they will have ,elephantine memories will soon be de-riguer for bok fans !

Haha the Oom discovered McCaw just before he found Lappies....this great predictor of international talent.
02 Mar 2014, 05:02#14
That's another Mike lie, a year out from Richie McCaw making the All Blacks Richie was barely playing NPC rugby, when he was selected for the AB's he'd only played 8 minutes of Super rugby, even so he was almost universally heralded in NZ as the open side to finally fill Josh Kronfeld's shoes. Yet another pile of Mike horseshit.
02 Mar 2014, 07:52#16
And you're a liar, not sad to say.

Arizona the kiwis here are a great bunch oF guys. They have a real sense of fun and its great to banter with them. Please dont get all bitter and twisted. Of course one realises the kiwis only have a rudimentary knowledge of rugby - think saSUE especially - but I do not hold that against them but try positively to rectify matters - with little sucess alas!
Pooooooie Mike is no liar. He may occassionaly be mistaken but he is not a liar.
02 Mar 2014, 09:43#18
"great bunch of guys and a gal" get your facts straight Beanhead.
Look gents, you need to look at things in perspective - McCaw has just won 14 in row Internationals - cut him abit of slack will you - he usually saves his best for you Saffers and Aussies LOL

The first time I ever saw Mccaw, a commentator was saying he was New Zealands answer to Bob Skinstad. I can't recall if it was an SA or New Zealand commentator.
At the time Bob Skinstad was the best rugby player in the world, and shortly afterwards had a car crash and badly injured his knee to never totally recover the form he was in prior to this.
Mccaw went on the become the better player, albeit more in the openside position than as a blindside flanker or number8.

Very (t)witty Ceradyne, lol
03 Mar 2014, 10:32#24
im sorry refresh my memory who scored the winning try a couple years ago at Soweto? Oh thats right mccaw, who dominated the semi againgst pocock in the wc semi? Oh thats right mccaw. Who is one of few to have 100 tests for NZ? Oh thats right mccaw. While he may not be the player he used to be techniquley, he still has great leadership skills, his understanding of the rules and strategy is second to none, and his presence alone is of value. I dont really care he missed a few tackles, ppl forget apart from loosing pace over the years, hes a forward chasing down pretty quick backs. Any othrr forward would of been let off, but because its mcaw ppl seem to think hes set at a different standard. Their seems to be some very bitter posts towards mccaw here, whether its you think hes overrated/overhyped, cheats, slow etc. But some of it is very juvinile, pretty petty and just jealousy, that your country never produced a player in the same calibre, but of course youll never admit that haha. Just tallpoppy syndrome, you may not like it but form is temporary, class is permenant.
03 Mar 2014, 10:56#26
Well sure i agree hes not 25 anymore and i concede on that, but his trend of good to great games all rely on gametime, he just hasent played enough imo, he seems to go missing most of the time, Reads kinda taken over tbh.

Cloudy, Hakwa, and all other Kiwis, please disregard the foul mouthed low life as he does not represent the spirit of this forum and neither does he represent South Africans. It's a low act of a coward hiding behind a keyboard.

McCaw is Luke Watson in disguise. The Silver Fern makes all the difference I suppose.
03 Mar 2014, 13:13#30
^lol im assuming your being sarcastic, conparing one of the greats to Luke Watson, yeah nice try.
03 Mar 2014, 13:22#31
Hey luke ,good to see you posting bro ! We all know that Richie is the glue that binds the boys together when it gets to the sharp end of things eh ? Just the fact that no-one wants to do wrong by the jersey and Richie makes him of immense value Sir Colin Meads was the last ABS captain with as much mana I reckon .Oops wee little arseboner forever had a little dummy spit eh ? Looks like unrequited man-love to me so maybe he should go back to pushing his wee army men across the carpet whilst making boom boom noises .
04 Mar 2014, 15:38#32
oh how the Bok fans want to get rid of him and we know why
04 Mar 2014, 23:14#33
The last time Richie made an impact was when he fell out of his wheelchair and hit the ground.
Apparently he saw a rugby ball and was trying to fall over it so no one else would have a chance to play with it. Poor guy, hard to break those natural instincts.

You know its easy to hit someone when theyre down, and its pretty low. I find bloggers have such a neptic point of view, they see everything through rose tinted glasses, or through a fish bowls perspective. In reality though its just tall poppy syndrome and/or jealousy. Kinda like some have been waiting for the Great Godzilla to crash and fall, and based on certain posts, they come a cross really bitter and resentful. Richies one of the greats, sure he aint in his prime anymore, but thats convinient, back 6-7 years ago, nothing you could do, his actions spoke for himself. Now theyre not, it is easy to downplay his current status, but it takes real intelligence to realize 1. This wont define his legacy, regardless what any cynical bloggers say 2. Missing two tackles with a broken thumb, doesent officially make him old, their are tons of forwards/backrowers who missed tons of tackles, and those eventual trys werw freaks of nature, i dont even beleive a 21 year old mccaw would of caught him, if head on sure, but the back clearly had a quicker turn of pace then mccaw, they out manuived everyone, only reason mccaw missed those tackles. 3. Peaking; Mccaw wants to go to nxt wcup, at his age its all about preserving, i do beleive he well peak at test lvl, some players can performon a whim, some are confidence players who need tons of game time, Mccaws one of those players. Also some players perform better in different or more competitive environments, like Test Rugby, Mccaw is one of those players. It hasent gone over my head, mccaw hasent played alot of super rugby lately, given his age hes cutting down on game time, messam and cruden had nearly double the gametime last season, theirs the difference.

hacked waaaugh this is a most unfortunate thread and best left to die a natural death without you bringing it up again and again.
Please understand that to all sane right thinking rugby men wee mcaaw is of little moment - please also appreciate my immense politeness on the subject in respect to Cloudy's delicate feelings.
As for 3ku1 would this oak try and use paragrahs spaces etc to make his posts more palatable to the eye. Currently his posts look like a computer programme run amok. Obviously new zealand "schooled" !!
Thanks

Beeno: your restraint in limiting the venom on Sir Richie is admirable
Regarding the stern school teacher comments re 3ku1, err seems a kettle black situation as some have suggested that you repeat first grade yourself (Clevermike, evidence is provided below)
My view on all of this is that this is not a classroom, it is a rugby site & there are no points for neatness but if this would help my fantasy rugby results I would vote for it, lol
