You really are the top picker of wrong players and I fully expect it from you,

I looked at the fantasy sites and the following alarming information became clear:-

*    Labuschagne is the top pointscorer as a lossie in the whole Super 15 competition with 1015 points.  The player you rated as an example as a loosie in three games managed to get 690 points.   The up and coming Botha with two full caps and coming from the bench in his first game got 625 points,   In three games played Kolisi amassed 470 points - which is slightly below par.

*    At cener I looked at the scoring of points for the number 12 position in particular.    Francois Steyn after three games has 390 points.   De Allende on the other hand has gained 520 points.   On performance the latter outplayed Steyn comprehensively.  He did it in  both Rounds 3 and 4.

*    At scrummie Hougaard after 2 games has 190 points - with Pretorius after three games having 630 points.  Who is the better scrummie if I may ask?

Bitter pills for you to swallow I beleive

The Bulls were great, Morne was not good at all and nor was Vermaak at 9 - what do you want me to say.

The Bulls pack were spot on and their centres Olivier and JJ Engelbrecht had great games

I at least provide some info on how players performed - you write crap about performances and then tried to convince members that the crap players you always support has "good games" when in fact they buggered up badly.

Mind you I liked your comments elsewhere about the Sharks team - saying they were all crap.  That when the real crap was so poor that he was eventually subbed.    However, we may soon have to listen to some more melodrama from you when Steyn is left out of the Sharks team .    I can imagine what you will call Plumtree then.

You had so much egg in the face that you now shoevelled in Engelbrecht - who showed very little in the game on Sunday - a bit of face-saving on your part perhaps?

Just one question - is the role of the open-side loosie to get turnovers of balls?   If so Kolisi failed miserably.  In three games he failed to effect one turnover in possession.   Must say he tries very hard - burt is still deficient in most aspects of the game.

Mike you seem to be mumbling.......only a complete idiot would tell us JJ was average and then go select Jean as the 13 for the week. Not to mention selecting the worst 15 of the weekend as your fullback - how stupid are you?

Frans was by far the best SA 12 in the first few rounds, he like the rest of his Sharks team mates had flat games on Saturday - he was neither poor nor good.

Plum will never drop Frans, he has been the best 12 in the country except for this weekend - that happens as it did to all the Sharks.

Kolisi came close to turning over many balls and as I have said in the past you stupid prick, its not only about turnovers, its about slowing opposition ball down, which is what Kolisi did - the kid had a great game and shoved your stupid crap about him right up your arse, much like Jantjies did.

Your problem is you know stuff all about rugby and rely on pathetic stats that provide no context, to make some ill informed point.

Kolsis was great as was Jantjies. Frans, JP, Reinach, Lambie, Jordaan and Jean did nothing of note this weekend.

I do not use stats to back up anything.   I look at games and make my own objective assessments - and I definitely don't fall for the rubbish written by some journalists that you admire  so much.    Only when people on this site write aboslute bullshit do I check out whether my own impressions are more or less correct.

You are known to constantly wild statements about players - so I did check up what the players were up to on the actual fiel of ply.  Steyn was reasonably satifactory in round 1 and crap in the succeeding game.  He was rubbish in the third game - proof of which that even Plumtree could not take his bugger-ups anymore and subbed him.   That after Plumtree told the media that they did recognise deficiencies in the backline and are working on it.  Apparently the misfiring element was Steyn and he got subbed because there really nothing else Plumtree could do.  Immediately thereafter the Sharks backline started functioning better.

Frans and Reinach was subbed because they buggered up.  De Villiers did more than required and the second watching of that game proved it conclusively.  Your dislike of De Villiers is so evident - it is laughable.

I did pick Kolisi as the number 6 and just watched the game again on TV - he throroughly deserved that nomination.   Near enough to making turnovers is not really acceptable - but leave that alone.

Mike as per usual you display that wonderful rugby ignorance of yours. For a start, players seldom make more than one turnover in a game, two at most - I recall Kolisi coming damn close to making one. But a knowledgeable rugby man would know that the measure of a good fetcher is not about how many turnovers he makes but on how well he does at slowing possession down.

The reality of rugby, given opposition are there to counter your attempts at a turnover, results in very few turnovers actually being executed successfully - but the attempt serves to slow opposition ball down and good fetchers are those that are quick to those breakdowns to attempt the turnover and sometimes execute them - Kolisi is one of these, much like he adds so much with ball in hand and in the tackle.

I was watching the game with my Pom mates and they raved about Kolisi, de Allende and Bekker.

You seem to be very quiet on Jantjies, let me guess you thought he was kak as per usual. My Pom mates laughed at all the negative thrown his way, they did comment on his stupid hairdo though!!

Just another comment to sidetrack everyone?  I said Jantjies played welll on Saturday - somewhat against what I expected.  He did well enough to get favourable comments from me on his performance.    There are still elemnts of his game with question marks - but at least he was trying to improve.

Did I not pt Kolisi in my team of the week - so what crap are you talking here.  I only mentioned some issues where h was deficient - so that is the end of that.

Why don't you put the Bok barometer on site this week?

You put Kolisi in your side but then go bang on about lack of turnovers like an ignorant twit.

So what exactly has Jantjies got to work on?

I dont know where to find the Bok Barometer side, I copied it from someone else's post, think it might have been Sharkbok, but am not sure.

One is defence - he got run over twice by opposing players.   His improvements was in playing nearer the gain line and playing a better passing game.   His kicking game is also not all that effective and he can improve on that as well.  Watch the game and youwill see what I mean but before you do that - take your blinkers off please.

Crap you would not even know what playing closer to the gain line means. His passing is one of his strengths, the kid like Goosen has an outstanding pass, with the ability to put players into space with flat bullet passes.

That touch to set Aplon up for a try is exactly the kind of play this kid can execute - its all about touch and timing, he has buckets of that. The art is for support players to be aware of this, just like Aplon was - and its a touch like that, that makes a mockery of anyone saying he is a manufactured player.

There is nothing wrong with his kicking game, in fact its damn good. Hell if Aplon had caught that perfectly weighted kick of his a week ago, it would have been try time.

Jantjies is a class act, who will just get better and better once he settles with the Stormers. Once they get Etzebeth back to add dominance to their pack, he will shine even more.
