I think the older posters know this...the new farts trip over his two-edged sword...he almost takes delight in trying to outsmart us all with his rugby knowledge after all he has played this game at the highest level...international???...maybe the expats in Cyprus Rugby Federation who incidentally are not a bad side.

Seb, he is a lost soul in the big wide world of rugby, but he will find his way after some time of following us. At least we hope. Faith is all we can have at this stage.

True lawyer the man is. No matter how wrong or untrue their statement, they will drum it home tirelessley in the hope of swaying the rest. Sometimes they will pick up on a great discrepancy and it will be genius to the outcome of their case put forward. Saffex is yet to experience this when it comes to rugby.

Until then, we will continue to school him in the hope of getting through ;-)

I'd be more than happy to be schooled by those that know what they are talking about when it comes to rugby - I am yet to discover one of those on here!!

Saffex

I admire your sense of humour - and it clearly comes to the fore when you discuss rugby issues.   You mention rugby issues - but have you ever been right?

Mike, one certainty is that when it comes to rugby, I am always right - FACT!

Saffex

Prepared to accept that - but you have a problem.   You have favourite players and before games you make up your mind that their performances in the ensueing games have been "good"  irrepective of what happens during the game.  If hey bugger up "it happens".

You know your rugby - but you fail to see shorcomings in your favoured playes - because you do not want to see where there are problems in performances.

That adds to the comical sie of posts.

Did I say Frans was good in his last game? Did I say JP was good in his last game?

Saffex

You kept on saying Steyn was good in all previous games - when the signs were there that he was not.  In the last game you softened your tone slightly to "fine" and used the term "it happens" twice to explain away deficiencies.  on the part of Steyn.

In essence you always soft-soap your favoured players and when they were average - they all turn into good in your book.   That is why you cannot understand why players are dropped from teams/starting line-ups/squads - you absolutely refuse to see any deficiencies in their play.   None is as blind as him who does not want to see.  The latter is Saffex for sure.

Beeno

You see me on my seat, ie my throne (avatar).   No difficulties - the shit is flowing easily  but I think Saffex is getting constipated. LOL
