He had a very good performance in the ore-season game against the Kings and is likely to start at full back for the Stormers in their first game against the Lions.   A similar positive report on Van Wyk indicated that he is li kely to start for the Stormers on the wing.

good news, taute has a lot of talent, but we all know meyer has no idea with what to do with good talent.
so look for taute to be overlooked when it comes to the Boks, and get ready to embrace the return of percy.

Don't you guys ever give up...Taute is horribly slow off the mark. Dagg totally skinned him in 2 feet of water to beat the Boks in 2012.....you don't develop speed off the mark. You are born with it, or in Taute's case, without it.

Taute has the ability and can become an above average fullback but he needs expert coaching, somehow it is something I doubt Coetzee can deliver.

Wow Moz, one beating by the impressive Dagg who has beaten many and easily faster than most and you have poor Taute as a deadwood.......its a shame really.

Good thing the Baby Bok coach and Meyer saw plenty in this talented player.

He is one of best young talents about........handy at both 13 and 15. Taute will walk straight back into the Bok squad........that is how good he is........crash ball my arse

Taute is quicker than the likes of Jean or Fourie.......he does not have JJ's pace, but would be on a par with any other SA 13's and 15's
