For record purposes I am going to put on this thread their weekly selections:

Round One: 15 Jesse Mogg (Brumbies), 14 Henry Speight (Brumbies), 13 Andrew Smith (Brumbies), 12 Kyle Godwin (Western Force), 11 Alfie Mafi (Western Force), 10 Kurtley Beale (Melbourne Rebels), 9 Nic White (Brumbies), 8 Ben Mowen (Western Force), 7 David Pocock (Brumbies), 6 Scott Higginbotham (Melbourne Rebels), 5 Toby Lynn (Western Force), 4 Hugh Pyle (Melbourne Rebels), 3 Laurie Weeks (Melbourne Rebels), 2 Stephen Moore (Brumbies), 1 Ben Alexander (Brumbies).

Round Two: 15 Jesse Mogg (Brumbies), 14 Sergeal Petersen (Southern Kings), 13 Tim Nanai-Williams (Chiefs), 12 Francis Saili (Blues), 11 Hosea Gear (Highlanders), 10 Patrick Lambie (Sharks), 9 Piri Weepu (Blues), 8 Pierre Spies (Bulls), 7 Marcell Coetzee (Sharks), 6 Eddie Quirk (Reds), 5 Steven Sykes (Kings), 4 Craig Clarke (Chiefs), 3 Jannie du Plessis (Sharks), 2 Bandise Maku (Kings), 1 Tendai Mtawarira (Sharks)

Round Three: 15 Gareth Anscombe (Chiefs), 14 Frank Halai (Blues), 13 Rene Ranger (Blues), 12 Francois Steyn (Sharks), 11 Asaeli Tikoirotuma (Chiefs), 10 Chris Noakes (Blues), 9 Piri Weepu (Blues), 8 Kieran Read (Crusaders), 7 Luke Braid (Blues), 6 Liam Messam (Chiefs), 5 Brodie Retallick (Chiefs), 4 Rob Simmons (Reds), 3 Ben Afeaki (Chiefs), 2 Tatafu Polota-Nau (Waratahs), 1 Tendai Mtawarira (Sharks).

Round Four

15 - Jesse Mogg (Brumbies):
Without doubt the premier fullback in Australia at present.
Bubbling under: Hennie Daniller (Cheetahs)

14 - Akona Ndungane (Bulls):
Oupa (grandfather), as his teammates call him, still has plenty of miles left in those legs - not to mention the experience he brings to the game.
Bubbling under: Kade Poki (Highlanders)

13 - Tim Nanai-Williams (Chiefs):
Even in a losing cause he was a stand-out player - constantly troubling the Stormers.
Bubbling under: Conrad Smith (Hurricanes)

12 - Christian Lealiifano (Brumbies):
He has always had the talent. He is now flourishing under Jake White's tutelage.
Bubbling under: Robert Ebersohn (Cheetahs)

11 - Julian Savea (Hurricanes):
Israel Dagg was given what is known as the 'Lomu treatment' - alternatively known as a 'Samoan sidestep'.
Bubbling under: Sergeal Petersen (Southern Kings)

10 - Johan Goosen (Cheetahs):
The confidence in his own ability is back and he can still get better. He clearly eased himself back into the game earlier in the season.
Bubbling under: Morné Steyn (Bulls)

9 - Sarel Pretorius (Cheetahs):
The nip is back and 'Surreal' (the Kiwi pronouncement) is showing why he is so often on the Bok shortlist for scrumhalves.
Bubbling under: Nic White (Brumbies)

8 - Pierre Spies (Bulls):
His bullocking runs often cause problems for the Blues, but that 50-metre dash down the right touchline showed just how dangerous he can be. Getting back to his best.
Bubbling under: Ben Mowen (Brumbies)

7 - Pieter Labuschagne (Cheetahs):
Instrumental in the Cheetahs getting a physical foothold in the game. He has a big future in the game if he keeps improving as he has done this year.
Bubbling under: Liam Gill (Reds)

6 - Siya Kolisi (Stormers):
Showed exactly why he was on Springbok coach Heyneke Meyer's shortlist before his injury last year. He will be back in the frame this year.
Bubbling under: Cornell du Preez (Southern Kings)

5 - Andries Bekker (Stormers):
He had a slow start to the year and some wondered about his fitness. The tallest player in Super Rugby is back to his best - good news for the Boks.
Bubbling under: Franco van der Merwe (Sharks)

4 - Flip van der Merwe (Bulls):
The new enforcer of Pretoria dished out plenty of pain in Auckland. Those young Blues players will know all about being in a 'bruising encounter' on Monday.
Bubbling under: Steven Sykes (Southern Kings)

3 - Jannie du Plessis (Sharks):
The Bok veteran is making sure his place as South Africa's premier tighthead prop is unchallenged.
Bubbling under: Coenie Oosthuizen (Cheetahs)

2 - Adriaan Strauss (Cheetahs):
Showed why he is so highly rated by Bok coach Heyneke Meyer - both in terms of his leadership and playing ability.
Bubbling under: Stephen Moore (Brumbies)

1 - Ben Franks (Hurricane):
Taught brother Owen a few lessons, but then that's what elder siblings do.
Bubbling under: Steven Kitshoff (Stormers)

SAFFEX IS OUR VERY OWN WEAVER OF MIRACLES - THE MOMENT THE NAME OF FRANCOIS STEYN CAME UP - HE COULD NOT HELP BY SPASHING IT ON THIS SITE.   wJEN i ASK THE SNEAKT BUGGER WHERE i CAN FIND THE TEAM - HE PREACHED IGNORANCE.

AND LABUSCHAGNE WAS PICKED BY 5 OF THE 6 SCRIBES.   BUT THEY KNOW ALL AND IS A GREAT QUOTE IF A PLAYER LIKE STEYN IS LISTED - BUT WHEN HE AND OTHER PLAYERS SUPPORTED BY BY SAFFEX IS NOT  LISTED - THERE IS NO REFERENCE TO THEM ON THIS SITE.

Now that the dust has settled over in the southern hemisphere, Planet Rugby thought it was only right to hand out some praise to the stars of Super Rugby, Round Four.

Without further ado, here comes our offering - be sure to send in your own 15-1 team selections.

15 Jesse Mogg (Brumbies) - Has been impressive since the start of the tournament and the rugby league convert continues to improve with every outing. Set up a try for Christian Lealiifano and gained 83 metres on attack, beating six defenders in the process. Joe Pietersen just misses out after a fine effort for the Stormers.

14 Kade Poki (Highlanders) - Was always dangerous and was rewarded with a hat-trick of tries. Made 72 metres on attack and beat six defenders.

13 Rene Ranger (Blues) - Another fine performance secures him the number 13 jersey for a second week in a row. Ranger stood out in his team's defeat to the Bulls with 102 meters gained, two turnovers won and seven tackles made. A mention too for Tim Nanai-Williams who continues to impress in his new position for the Chiefs.

12 Christian Lealiifano (Brumbies) - Gave a superb goal-kicking display but also showed plenty of enterprise as a playmaker, while doing well on defence with eleven tackles.

11 Julian Savea (Hurricanes) - Made a huge impact with ball in hand in the win over the Crusaders, making 130 metres. Scored a memorable try.

10 Johan Goosen (Cheetahs) - Gave his best display of the season in the victory against the Highlanders. Nailed all his kicks at goal and did well to unleash his dangerous outside backs.

9 Sarel Pretorius (Cheetahs) - Combined well with Goosen and proved a handful to the Highlanders defenders with his sniping breaks around the fringes of the rucks and mauls. Gained 107 metres and was rewarded with a brace of tries. Tawera Kerr-Barlow gets a mention.

8 Pierre Spies (Bulls) - Was back to his best on attack in his side's win over the Blues, gaining 73 metres, with two line breaks and also won a crucial turnover.

7 Wimpie van der Walt (Kings) - The Kings hardly attacked in their defeat to the Sharks as they were on the backfoot from the kick-off. Van der Walt led the way in a huge team effort on defence with nineteen hits, which played a huge part in preventing the Sharks from scoring a try. Liam Gill also impressed in the Reds' win over the Rebels.

6 Pieter Labuschagne (Cheetahs) - Labuschagne's defensive effort was phenomenal, making 24 tackles, but unlike Van der Walt his game wasn't just about defence. He carried well, winning 50 metres and also won a crucial turnover.

5 Andries Bekker (Stormers) - Won the official man-of-the-match award in his team's win over the Chiefs and looks like he is close to regaining his best form. Performed admirably in the line-outs but also carried well, beating two defenders while he won two turnovers.

4 Francois Uys (Cheetahs) - Got through plenty of hard work up front and had the second highest tackle count for the Cheetahs - after Labuschagne - with 22 completed.

3 Ben Afeaki (Chiefs) - Beat his opponent in the scrums but also caught the eye with a strong effort in loose. Was also busy on defence, making 12 tackles.

2 Adriaan Strauss (Cheetahs) - This was a tough decision as Saia Faingaa and Stephen Moore also impressed for the Reds and Brumbies respectively. But Strauss sneaks in for a solid display against the Highlanders. As usual, his line-out throwing was good and his leadership superb in a memorable win for the men from Bloemfontein.

1 Ben Franks (Hurricanes) - Was psyched up to face his former team-mates and it showed in his performance. Got through plenty of work in the tight and loose and just shaded his bother, Owen, in their battle at the scrums. Stormers youngster Steven Kitshoff was also impressive.

Frankly I have found the Rugby 365 team very spotty.  Spies only has to show up to get in their team.

Mozart

I really have no problem with the slection of Spies - he really played well in the three games he played in.   Where I have a problem is with Francois Steyn - he turned up in the round 2 against the Cheetahs - did virtually nothing and got nominated.

However, I do believe they have been entirely correct about Labuschagne.   I have never heard of any player that managed to make 24 tackles and missed 2 in 80 minutes.  .   Say the opposition has 50% possession and   taking into account time taken in scrums, line-outs and mauls  as well - it means he was making a tackle virtually once every minute the ball is actually in play.   That really is phenominal - I have never heard of that before and would not have believed it if I did not see it with my own eyes.   No wonder the NZ commentator said "how many millions of times has he been involved".

Mike you thick prick, that is not the Bok Barometer side I copied and pasted from a poster on this site you stupid ignorant fool. Rugby 365 is something totally different. And the week we are talking about when Botha and Deyel made the Bok Barometer side was week 3 not 4.

How bloody stupid are you - now be a man and apologise for saying a preached ignorance - you need to get your bloody facts straight before you start pointing fingers dumbass
