Lat week you did not at all wanted to give credit to Van der Walt and Pretorius - what do you say about their game tonightt. And yes - the barometer for this week would definitely have Hougaard as scrummie and Steyn as no 12. So enjoy it.
Saffex - why are you always wrong
Tells us Deysel and Botha are worth more than Labuschagne. Then he tells me I dont know my stuff. I tell him Pretorius is better in a losing team than Hougaard and again I dont know my stuff. 2 players I earmarked have left him with egg all over his face..Actually, its just more egg on top of egg!!
When oh when will he learn I cry!!!
Talking about being wrong. Frans Steyn never off-loaded the ball in 2012, did he?
Hey Bongi if you are too scared to post under your ss board nick how about telling us the reason for your fear? Regardless you are of course welcome here but your fear is a mystery.
Bongani
What do you call off-loads in tackle situations? I still maintain he never did a poper off-load - have not seen any of Steyn last year - and Mozart's stats confirm that.
Bloody hell you people are so stupid. In week 3 Deysel and Botha were the best flanker, hence their selection for the Bok Barometer side for that week. That does not mean Labascagne is a poor player, it just means that in that week Botha and Deysel were better - wake the fuck up. It gets a bit irritating pointing out the obvious.
Now in case you are too stupid to be aware of this fact - the Bok Barometer is nothing more or less than the selection of the best 15 SA player of the weekend. Pretorious last weekend, was pathetic, this weekend he has had a fine game, much of which was opportunist.
Labascagne was solid enough last week, but great this week and will take some beating to make the Bok Barometer side of the weekend.
Try catch a bloody wake up, its frustrating having to debate with a bunch of idiots.
Saffex
Dumb you are and dumb you will remain to be. Labuschagne played for a losing team last week - but put in a massive performance proven by his stats and everything else. The New Zealand commentatoors never stopped praising him.
There really was no difference between the level of performance he put in last week and the level this week. The rugby commentators all have their favourites and those will go into the Barometer you so marvel in by hell or high water.
Pretorius both last week and this week showed Hougaard what scrumhalf play really is about
So now be a good dunce and go and sit quietly in the corner.
Mike dont start acting like a few others on here and start lying. Labascagne had a solid enough game last week and the NZ commentators did not rave against him as they did not rave about any Cheetahs players given they were taking a beating - dont lie.
Labascagne had a solid enough game last week, but was not even close to the performance of Botha and Deysel that week you stupid idiot.
Pretorious was a complete liability last week you idiot
Here we go ignorant Mike.......the take on Pretorious last week, read an weep you stupid man.....
'After looking good in the first half, the Cheetahs loose forwards seemed to have run out of steam, while the backline was terrible to say the least. Sarel Pretorius had the exact opposite effect on the game as he had against the Sharks last week, with his poor passing and decision making costing the Cheetahs plenty of possession.'
Saffex
Balls about the commentators comments - they kept on mentioning Labuschagne last week with a refrain - "again that man Labuschagne" mentioned requently. Same again this week as mentioned by boklogic.
You are indeed talking crap about his performance last week and your one-eyed approach to your favoured players is legendary. I do not lie about rugby matters - I say things as I see them happening on the field of play. I look at everything - good and bad - and when a player buggers up constantly - I clearly say so. That accounts for the issue of Francois Steyn as well. He buggered up badly in the Sharks backline in the past two games of the Sharks and clearly disrupted the functioning thereof. Even Plumtree said the backline was not functioning properly and the matter is being atended to.
I am not sure it can be corrected though - unless they replace Steyn with Whitehead or even Bosman.
Look here stupid Mike, Deysel is not a favourite player of mine so why would I be pushing for him. I just acknowledge that he had a good game and deserved selection last week.
And you are lying about the commentators and Labascagne last week.......he was at best solid. He was great this week

When it suits you, the stats are useful. When it does not suit you, they do not tell the true story. Moz has picked up on one mistake I made with Steyn's off-load stats, and I conceded that I made a mistake with one mistake out of entire list that I quoted. Go check. Now we have to agree that he NEVR made a single off-load in the entire 2012. Why? Because, despite what the game stats reflect, Mike ".....can not remember him making a single off-load". First class arrogance, I would say. Especially when you have been shown up as far as your memory is concerned. You want some examples as well?
Bongani
I will give you satisfaction by saying - Steyn actually did a unique thing today - he did off-load the ball in tackle situations and he did show he is not a cnters backside as well - hence his substitution. I think the backline would really function better without him.
