SANZAR considering complaint against Stormers

SANZAR CEO Greg Peters


Southern hemisphere rugby body SANZAR have revealed that they are considering a complaint of "match day misconduct" against the Stormers team management.

 

Neither SANZAR nor South Africa's Stormers would say what the mysterious complaint related to but the incident is understood to have occured during a Super Rugby game against the Hurricanes in New Zealand two weeks ago.

 

SANZAR stressed that they would not comment beyond a two-sentence statement on Tuesday because the matter was before a judicial officer.

 

The Cape Town-based Stormers beat the Wellington-based Hurricanes 18-16 in the game in Palmerston North on April 26.

 

An incident involving Stormers officials during the match at FMG Stadium is the subject of the complaint.

 

SANZAR's head office is in Sydney Australia where the Stormers face the Waratahs this weekend.

 

The Hurricanes are in South Africa and play the Cheetahs on Friday.

Apparently Stormers coaching team getting very animated and vocal on the sidelines and in the coaches box. Better than old droopy face Hansen, or sour puss Ted (Henry)!

Apparently the Stormers criticized the referee aloud during the course of the game.   I have no problem with that - he wa a farce in the first instance.

Sniff . . . our poor Stompies had all these injuries and then . . . and then . . . sniff . . . the referees . . . booooooohoohoohoo . . . the naughty referees are always so ugly to us . . . boooohoohoohoohoo . . .

SARU should middle vinger SANZAR and go up north.....its always the sa teams that get stick for blatant one sided reffed matches and when we complain the bullies like this douch bag peters like to crack the wip.....thank you SA fore giving us about 60 odd % of the revenue but your not allowed to voice your views....

 

maybe the SARU should change the logo to a cow as i am quite sure we are being milked but we need to act like great little slaves and not have a any view.

Clevermike apparently it wasn't critising the ref that was the problem but a continual stream of verbal abuse aimed at a lineman I think was the problem. Carpetmuncher, the boo hoo "SA teams" conspiracy is getting old, but hey if you think the SA game will improve by going north, we'll miss you.
