SARU Succession Plan for Erasmus

The contract for Erasmus and his coaching and management staff have been extended to 2031.

There is a succession plan for replacement of Erasmus in place. Although no names has been provided at all - what is clear that the successor will be involved in the present coaching and manangement structure of the Springboks. However a photo of Jones and Browne heads the article,

Jones was appointed by Erasmus in 2018 and bar a 3 year period he has been employed by England Rugby he was re-employed by Erasmus in 2024. Boe also jined the Coachinmg structure in 2024.

If we are talking 2031 that is ages away - any succession plan is weightless given the time frame

It was an article I quoted from Rugby 365, Accprding tot he article the succeion plan cannot kick in before 2031 - but it was a plan should something required after that date, So as we are all human - there may be a replacement need before that date.
