no need for an apology mikey but thanks, as a self proclaimed sarugby.com legend, i understand no one can be held to my standards which is molded after the 2013 All Blacks with its 100% success rate, LMAO,

but regarding some comments,,,

IMO no one can tell who was at fault with the scrum collapse in the 63rd minute, as laulala and kitshoff hit the ground at the same time.
it looked to me like a simple scrum which didnt initially engage into a stable scrum platform and thats not a penalty offence, ref was correct to reset the scrum.

the second time it does look like laulala buckles to the pressure, and the ref could have awrded a penalty to the stormers, but the ref cant be blamed for not being on the right side of the scrum.
touch judge could have made a call, but his position at time of the incident is unknown, but would have also been obstructed by groom who was feeding the ball from that side.

disagree with this, cos the crusaders never went up in the scrum and it was a stormers feed, they always had possession of the ball.

IMO both frontrows were angling up, but no one actually came/popped up, so when vermeulen ran with the ball from the back of the scrum, it was all good as far as im concerned.

one thing i have noticed after rewatching the scrum in the 63rd minute is this, groom never feeds the ball down the middle, its rolled on the stormers side.
ref was right there too and should have blown a penalty for the crusaders.

agree to disagree, theres no clear footage that ive seen from the broadcast which backs ur claim.
im not saying he wasnt offside, im just saying i havent seen any footage which shows matt todd offside.

at various times when the stormers rolling maul was progressing forward, matt todd can be seen lurking on the fringe of that maul.
but every time the stormers would go forward, matt todd would back up accordingly which is what hes meant to do.

the final seconds of the rolling maul, its hard to tell as the camera angle is a close up of the maul when it becomes stationary.
but using armcahir logic here is what i did find.
the last crusaders hind foot is IMO before the 22 line.
when fourie runs with the ball, there is video evidence of todd running from behind the 22 for a possible assit in tackle with read.

this leads to the logical conclusion that todd is onside at that time.
but if there is clear evidence of the offside during this rolling maul, i didnt see it and this can be easily reviewd via a timestamp of todds infringement,
