I checked the official websites already- no news there other than the report on last Saturdays game on the Crusader site and ticketing information on the Chiefs site. Do you have any team info we can use for selections this coming week insofar as fantasy selection is concerned? I do not expect any real surprises in selection - bar the possibility of McCaw being in the starting line-up - which could be detrimental to the Crusaders. For the rest they are likely to start with their best players and not use rotation in this case -unless there are some injuries which we may not know about yet.
Any news about Foxsport running fantasy programme for the RC as yet? I think some of our league members did not keep up adequate levels of participation this year and I wonder what could be done to get them back on track. You are a respected poster on this site - maybe you should deal with that issue by means of an urgent request to members to become involved and stay involved - I have too many "board enemies" to be really influential in that regard.
In the meantime I have asked Ole Cruz/Tomas to get involved - no response as yet - and asked Cleancut (second on the Test Rugby competition) to join as well and he would ask his friend who at present leads in the Test Rugby competition to join as well. If we an get those three - get some existing members to go all out and get some other members in as well - we should have a very strong competitive competition on both fantasy programmes.
Maybe we can get Beeno in as the games will all be played over weekends and not involve Friday games at all - and work will not interfere in this case. In any event I will post a message to him and see his reaction. There is no way Saffex and Mozart will become involved - they would be deprived of their constant harping on players they like or dislike.
