Why according to the site is Foxsport closing time just over 24 hours before the games are actually played? According to the time fame the competition closes off Friday morning (SA time) and not Saturday morning just before th game is being played between the Crusaders and the Reds. This could be problematic since the second play-off game is actually on Sunday and White is notorious for announcing teams late. Is their anything that could be done about it?

No need to respond. They changed the closing time to Saturday 9:20 SA time. Hope White has his team up by then.

@mikey,

one good thing about finals is u know every team will be fielding their top players, so the gamble risk isnt as high as it usually is during the round robin stages.

if i recall correctly, their was some major problems with the naming of teams last year in the finals, but hopefully its not the case this week.

keep an eye out on players who are battlaing to get fit for the weekend, they wont be worth the risk IMO.

Sasue I agree with you - but it still is not easy - the budget will be a problem unless you put some really cheap players on the bench and hope for the best. When will they start with competitions for the RC - keep us informed please. I have asked Tomas (Old Cruz) to join up as well The bugger with his inside info will probably beat us hollow - but he is intelligent and knows what to do. I suppose Rooinek will deal with the Test Rugby issue for the RC.
