Hurricanes

1. Ben Franks ,2. Dane Coles,3. Ben May,4. Jeremy Thrush,5. James Broadhurst,6. Brad Shields,7. Jack Lam ,8. Victor Vito ,9. TJ Perenara,10. Beauden Barrett,11. Julian Savea,12. Reynold Lee-Lo,13. Conrad Smith,14. Alapati Leiua ,15. Andre Taylor

Replacements : 16. Ash Dixon,17. Reggie Goodes,18. Mark Reddish,19. Faifili Levave,20. Chris Smylie,21. Tusi Pisi,22. James Marshall

Sasue - what happened to Ardie Savea? And I see Conrad Smith now wants a sabbatical - should he not realize he is past his sell-by date and try for two seasons in Europe or Japan rather?

Ou Maaik, there's something very dodgy about Ardie Savea's continued omission from the Hurricanes squad.

He miraculously lives up to all the OTT hype in his debut game and earns rave reviews. Then he performs okay in his second start and he gets one more brief run off the bench and now suddenly he's dropped for the rest of the season?.

There's something very suspicious here.

@mikey,

for right this very moment, conrad does have value, hes very loved by the kiwi public myself included and this sabatical of his is all part of these senior AB players trying to prolong their AB careers.
i think its smart and i also think that carter sohould follow suit, as of all the old timers i want to see at the next RWC, carter and McCaw are the only ones i would want there.

ranger has done enough IMO to be given the incumbency, but hansen wont just throw him in, instead he will gradually phase him in.
i really hope ranger makes the most of the EOYT and uses it to send a clear message to hansen as to who exactly is the top dogg.

regarding savea,
his continued snubbing is not roids, more a combination of incompetence, depth and preservation.

right at the satrt of the season i mentioned that the hurricanes have some craxzy depth in the looseforwards and it was obvious the hurricanes were going to have to leave somebody out every games.
hammet the cockhead also said ardie wouldnt play that many games as hes only 19 years old.
ardie had a barnstorming game against the waratahs, but he was also unfairly blamed for the hurricanes hiding by the blues a week later and has struggled to make the team ever since.
i honestly believe that hammet selected savea in the hurricanes squad more so that other NZ teams couldnt pick him, cos before he was signed, we already had jack lam, fafili levave, victor vito,karl slowe, brad shields and blade thompson and all are higly rated by most folks including me, except i dont rate karl slowe anymore.

hes playing club rugby since then where hes been carving up and getting ready for the u20 championship in france where he will be a key player so u will see more of him there and im hoping to see him at least get a few run on games near the end of the season now that thue hurricanes are done in the spXV, but hammet isnt a cockhead for nothing.
