The Chiefs played very well and thoroughly deserve their victory. So I am not going to debate that with you.
However, there is one issue that I saw from the two matches played this morning that should worry the AB selectors and that is what are they going to do about getting decent locks for the team.
I made the mistake o selecting an AB lock for my fantasy selections and came up with a serious deficiency in doing that = and I also select an AB center and the same thing happened.
However - it is in the lock position where things look poor for the AB's. Look at the points they got on Foxsport:-
* Sam Whitelock = 16 points
* Brodie Retallick = 12 points
* Luke Romano = 3 points
Jaws had a rookie - who probably had his second game at lock in Super 15 and he could not deal with him.
I also took a real hard look at the prop situation - especially during the past two weeks and hat does not look promising either. Against top props both the Crusaders and the Chiefs are going to struggle badly and they better hope that they can bring up something extra from elsewhere - but even there the outlook is not the brightest.
They have excellent backline players and they should prosper there - but the tight 5 looks at best iffy to poor. .
