Yet the Kiwi fan boys go on about our judicial system after an "in the game" stamping. Far rather have that than a failed justice system! Can expect anything more from a country that cant keep a game of rugby clean!

Notice how Savea did not blame the ref/IRB Conspiracy/Water boy/Weather! He manned up as ALL good ABs do, faced the problem head-on, admitted his weakness and failings as a human being, owned up and owned the problem and took positive steps to ensure that the chances of it happending again in the future are diminished. Well done lad, I am proud of you NOW go seek dem Poms LOL.

Quite frankly, hakwa, I think it's not ok to simply say sorry and get on with it. He should not have been playing for NZ and he should not be playing now.
That simply gives the wrong impression, sorry !!
And before anyone says it, the RFU has been wrong to simply fine and give counselling etc to the 5 players who tested positive for drugs ( non-peformance enhancing ) out of season. I do not agree with that at all. It sends out the wrong message completely. Just to get that in before anyone throws that one in my face

Boklogic sometimes don't know whether you like or absolutely detest NZ from your post. Clevermike everyone deserves a 2nd chance, disagree with once a beater always a beater unless you know this for a fact. Had a mate convicted of spousal abuse, because he had pushed past his wife to leave an excalating situation after she tried to block the doorway, when he returned cops were waiting and even though she in the end didn't want to press charges they did anyway.....boom convicted.

the outcome is pretty standard and would have happened for any first time offender regardless of their status, so i dont really have any complaints with this outcome, as the public shame of his actions must be taken into account too.
i also think that hakwa san, polyboy and even becs are spot on with their arguments, odd cause becs is arguing against hakwa san, lolz
hakwa san is correct in saying that
"He manned up as ALL good ABs do, faced the problem head-on, admitted his
weakness and failings as a human being, owned up and owned the problem
and took positive steps to ensure that the chances of it happending
again in the future are diminished"
i agree with this 100%, saveas actions while amongst the lowest acts of any man, never once shied away from the hard truth of his crime, he manned up took responsibility and is now hopefully a better person for it.
becs is correct when she said
"He should not have been playing for NZ and he should not be playing now.
That simply gives the wrong impression, sorry !!"
NZRU and hansen dropped the ball big time in this reagrd, cos savea should have been banned from the All Blacks for the year.
this would have sent a strong message to women and relating pro woman organisations that NZRU have their backs.
it would have also sent a very strong message out to young aspiring footy players that playing for NZ means ur name is never big enough to escape the consequences of ur actions.
instead NZRU chose a more diplomatic stance, one that said we will wait until the investigation is complete and see whats what.
thats not their official position, but it is what they did and it meant that savea was selected for all the All Black tests bar the thrid french test in june.
IMO NZRU and hansen did what was in the best interest of the All Blacks in terms of results, and not what was best from a moral stand point.
while i thought savra should ave been banned for a year, i would have even been happy if the All blacks banned savea from just the june tests, its better then nothing IMO
and that brings me to polyboy who summed it all up perfectly with this
"everyone deserves a 2nd chance"
yes they do polyboy, so lets hope julian savea has learned his lessons and strives to be a better person and a real role model for kids.
we all make mistakes and we can all better oursleves by learning from them mistakes, just ask convicted drug cheat johan goosen,

ha ha Poly, I am just giving as good as we get from some of your friends. I detest every rugby team that opposes the Springboks ;-)
Nothing personal but if the shoe was on the other foot, we would have some of the kiwi fan boys going wild.
Wait until they hear the news that SA were found ball tampering in the test vs Pakistan overnight. Brycy is going to lap that up ;-)

I must say if it was it was Bismaark or any other Springbok player in trouble for wife bashing, the tabloid faction of Kiwis fan boys like Brycy and Hakwa would be all over it. It would be a field day against the evil Springboks.

I think the talk of " manning up " is totally wrong....no man ever hits a woman, full stop .

saSUE insan, hakwa insan and all the insan kiwis please no excuses or dodging the bullet. Just book in for your councelling sessions. You could also invite cc to come to as we have one or two who I suspect also need councelling - no nation is perfect
