I'm curious to see how the team you call the "dark horse" are going to fare today. The wickets are Kiwi friendly enough and after their effort against the Ozzies, a game they would have won had mother not intervened and allowed the Ozzies to dodge a bullet, I would say your "dark horse" is par for the course.Let's hope the weather holds up so that there's a full game which will tell us more about the strengths of the sides.

Yeah D, I still back the NZ'ers to do well. They really looked good for a win against Aus, and that would have set them up very well for a chance to top the group. Today's game will be very interesting, the winner may well go on to win the tournament. The pressure is all on England though, because apart from home ground pressure, NZ have a relatively easy game against Afghanistan remaining, where as England still have to face the Aussies. Tough group. I think it is fair to say that we have the easier group.
A side note. A generation back, who would have thought the West Indies would not be in the top 8 in the world? Although, we might be saying that about the Boks one of these days.

Well now, it's not par for the cause anymore, methinks the game is there for the Kiwis taking....England are underperforming and how earth would you stick with Roy??.. unbelievably pigheaded. Both teams are shining a light on the Proteas.

England looking good so far, nothing spectacular from any single player, but constant partnerships will get them to around the 320 mark. Its a pretty high score to chase. I'd say advantage England.

The poor Aussies have had awful luck with the weather, they need an England win here.

Very flaccid NZ perfrormance......they never seemed like a team who thought they had a chance.

The Black Caps unfortunately are a one man band, without Kane Williamson they are done, while he was at the crease they were looking like winners. Also think they lacked strike power, Trent Boult was hugely disappointing as their #1 attacking bowler. Ozzies will come out blazing when they play England in a must win game whereas the Proteas need to win just one of their next two games to make the semi's.

I expected better from New Zealand. If England beat Aus, and NZ beat Bangladesh, they can still go through. Gonna be a cracker of a game between Aus and England!!!

I think you're right. Be good to see how England handles genuine pace. I'm tipping the Ozzies.
