every year the top league (japans premiere rugby comp) continue to nab stars from SANZAR and it makes me really want to watch their games (i live streamed a couple and some funny as shizzle especially when commentators get a little excited).

panasonic knights have aquired the services of SBW for the season which is where jacque fourie plays, i would love to see these two mingle it up after they have a few games under their belts, the skill sets between the two would make it one of the most dangerous midfield pairings ever.

Great combination it would be exciting to see the amount of linebreaks being made created by SBW and Jacque running on to those crazy offloads.

i wouldnt mind the panasonic knights taking on jerome kainos team as well, im pretty sure that kaino and kankowski are playing in the same team.

sam norton knight a former wallaby and waratah plays in SBW and fouries team as well, hes famous for tapping that ball when the waratahs were awrded a penalty on the 80th minute. he tapped the ball and did a little up and under for himself and lost the ball. waratahs lost the match when a penalty kick would have won them the match. lote tiquiri was really pissed off and shoved norton knight his own teammate in the back.

That is an awesome center combination. It would probably match or beat any center combination in world rugby. SBW is arguably the best rugby player in the world and Jaque fourie is one of the best outside centers. As Lucid has stated Jaque Fourie running off SBW would be lethal. Fourie is such a strong runner.

Maybe Sunny Bill will sign for the boks. We could do with a play maker like him in our backline. Maybe we could clone him or something.

It's such a shame that JF cannot play for the Boks due to a clause in his contract. He's been my best Bok centre of the modern era, and goes down as one of the world greats...brilliant reader of the game, defends like a man posessed,  calm under pressure and runs beautiful lines. A real pleasure to watch and makes me think that, other than the money, perhaps Jaques Fourie could of been one of the factors influencing SBW to the Panasonic Knights. SBW will learn a lot off Fourie and will improve his game and experience tremendously.

Fury is the most overrated player since Watson. His hopeless defence against Wales almost cost us the pool win. And his poor passing and backing up did cost us the Oz RWC QF. I am always amazed at the lemming like repetition of the baloney the commentators sprout. Fury won't be running onto SBWs offloads, jean could never find him supporting a break

Jacque Fourie has scored many excellant tries and is a strong runner. His passing skills are like many centres in South Africa so I doubt his individual passing skills couild be accredited with winnning or losing a game, let alone the worldcup.

As for Jean Devilliers- he does not ever break the line anymore since 2008, before Fourie even came to province. Playing outside Sonny Bill cant be compared to playing outside Jean Devilliers.

great combination

SBW the offloader and he is paired with a hard line running outside back in jacques fourie so that does make for a mouth watering pairing right there.

he plays very well next to one off passer so jaque will really enjoy the space that SBW will create i think. great signing for japanese rugby

@mozart,

damn thats an interesting point of view, but u seem to be in the minority, each to their own though so all good.

in NZ fourie is recogniosed by many as one of the best 13s in recent times and a serious threat.

the points u mentioned about his game might be true in a few of his matches, but definately not all IMO.

I never persuade anybody about Fury.....so I stick to specifics. In the QF, contrary to Sharkboks comments, Jean made 3 superb breaks, all of which had try written all over them. Not once did Fury back up those breaks, it was left to Lambie to fill in, but a marginal forward pass call negated the try.

In the same test Fury had the ball with one defender on him and Habana open outside, inside the Oz 22. The pass was thrown without properly committing the player.....ans was high and behind, stopping Habana in his tracks.

Just the facts.
