SBW withdrawn due to illness

SBW is out and Goodhue is in. Goodhue will do well, amazing how he has improved and performs so well at test level now. Not a flashy player but gets the job done.

Silver lining Bro,much as I like SBW Goodhue is the future .

For sure Wardad he's the future. 

SBW can still have a major impact. I read where SBW pulls defense away from the scrum and this means there is more space inside and with his offloads the outside backs also often end up with more space also. They will nurse him along until the RWC.

SSay what you like about SBW but he took off-loading to new levels and forced other teams to follow suit.

I think SBW is not the player he used to be and the constant injuries and advancing age caused a deterioration in his performance.   One only have to look at what happened in the Blues match against the Stormers a few months ago, where he was comprehensively outplayed by De Allende.

He is still strong enough to go down slower than normal than players in tackles and can thus off-load balls easier - but the rest of his performance is becoming more and more questionable.

I think that using Goodhue as a back-up is  a very real improvement over the usage of SBW.
