Is there any news of how he is or when he is likely to return?

Last I heard he said the operation was a success. Cant think he will be back this year but should be ready for super 15. Great if he came back and was on top form.

Schalk needs to concentrate on the Stormers. I hope he won't be selected just because he is Schalk either. Kolisi was a big step up and had a blinder all year. He definitely deserved a Bok cap, pity about that injury.

Yep he has to be selected on form. if on form he will be a huge asset to the campaigh. kolisi will need to get stronger. He is young and could do that. Got tired as long season went on and was, in my opinion, overplayed - Coetzee tends to do this.

I noticed how even Coetzze battled a bit against abs. He too will get better as he is also very young. All heart.

Both are promising players.

yes, his operation was a success - the surgeons successfully removed one of the oppositions' eye from his thumb - his thumb was fine but the eye, well you can always buy one of those from the Dairy shop around the corner!

schalk will have his work cut out with the amount of juniors really have a great opening season. coetzee and kolisi are great future prospects but are neither big ball carrier forwards nor out and our open siders so i think they will add to there cv of skills as time goes on. the man mangement of these players is paramount as kolisi has been played into the ground by no cups coetzee. this style of management will only shorten players careers even more.

they just need to understand there roles in terms of there respective unions and just focus on that area. there is droves of big ball carriers so i tend to think they need to focus on developing there breakdown skills more. fourie to me has been very very effective in his new openside role. if i was no cups which i am not thank goodness i will play fourie permanently. he has added much more speed and breakdown skills to a overgymed big and slow wp pack.
