These new stadiums look out of place in the old European towns.

Already better rugby than in the entire 80 minutes we just had to struggle through.

Irish line speed has certainly improved since that opener against France. Great ball wide by Russell. What a try Scotland. Can someone please get Ackers and Dobbo to watch what proper rugby looks like? 7-7

Sheehan try . . . if he grounded it.

Russell holds on too long with the tryline begging. Ireland clear their lines to roars of approval from the crowd.

Scotland bashed their way out of numbers there and Russell tackled in possession, Ireland clears deep. Should have released it wide sooner, the Schoeman stumbling carry was one too many and tanked all their momentum.

Great old style winger’s try….the master of those outside swerve tries was Jannie Engelbrecht, the prince of wings.

Steyn with an excellent take. Makes a mockery of the shambles under the high ball we saw in the derby.

What a difference the ref as well. Talking to the captains, not to every player who queries him.

That half went by like nothing. Ireland easily in control at the moment, Scotland will need to find something to lift them in the second. 19-7

Scotland caught in possession again. They're struggling with the Irish line speed, just not dynamic enough in their execution.
