A famous AB no. 8 took a drop goal from the half way in during a game in the RWC. But a prop? Well put it this way the result was not the same, lol

Munster: Some teams just never know when they're beaten, so it was no surprise to see Munster snatch victory in Cardiff at the death thanks to Paddy

Adam Jones used to be a goal kicking Hooker as a kid so he thought he'd give it a go
Pity it didn't come off !

Dunning's kick went over! That was a good one Ceradyne. Amazing some of the skills these big boys have. The fact is they weren't always front rowers, many played in the backs as boys (at least that is true for kiwis) so they often have the skills.

The reason for the stupid look on Dunnings face was that the Tahs needed a fourth try bonus point to make the semis. They had three and were going for the fourth when the drop goal occurred. Won the game but didn't make the semis. One of oz sports greatest brain fades. Claims he took the shot to return to the penalty they had advantage for and meant to miss! Either way, moron.

A long time ago...it wasn't uncommon for forwards to kick for goal...Frik Du Preez was a classic...did drop goals from half way line...leather ball and all. I recall a hooker in the 1st XV that kicked every now and then.

I remember Juba handing the ball over to Ollie in a Sharks game...just for fun obviously and he got it over....the good ol'days of Mac.

Well, Jordan Crane kicked an amazing Penalty in the shoot out for Leicester a few years back.m
Just because you are a Forward, why shouldn't you kick ?
Many have started off in the Backs as kids.
