this is a big loss for the bulls, even though the bulls have qualified for the finals, they face a stormers outfit who will be looking to rain on thier parade, and a loss this weekend would have huge consequences for the bulls, especially if the chiefs beat blues and the brumbies beat the force with a 4try bonus point, something that i think will happen.
Bulls have a fantastic amount of depth at center, Frans Venter will be his replacement and even though he's just come back from injury I rate him better than De Allende!

Serfontein was disappointing on the weekend. It all started very early on when Charl McCleod went ghosting past him and it looked like Jan was bolted to the floor. He then got run over (I think by Edwin Hewitt or Jean Deysel) and did little to slow momentum. Those are just two things that immediately stand out but he definately was not his usual effective self. One of the games to forget for him but I am sure he will bounce back even better.
This is the reason why SA rugby may not be ready to get rid of JDV just yet. He remains our best 12 and at the moment, by some distance. Jan will make up ground pretty quickly though. He has the necessary skillset and eye for the game. He just needs to put games like Saturday behind him and keep pushing on.
