Someone took the time to collect all the major contributions that Serfontein was responsible for before he was injured. Esterhuizen didn't have a bad match against Argentina, but Serfontein is just better.
Thanks for uploading this! Nice to see. It's hard to learn very much from highlight reels as they don't show everything, however, this did showcase good awareness and distribution, strength carrying the ball up securely and sound defence. I think this accurately reflects his overall game.
I'm not at all against Serf. He is the closest thing to a Jean type, he reads play well and is a good organizer. I was concerned with how he could be overpowered head-on though. If Rassie wants an alternative to Esterhuizen it has to be Serf.
