I was watching SA playing Spain in the quarterfinals and after full time the score was 10-10. In that time the tackle misses and poor passes by the SA team members were amazingly poor. The 7's player with the worst tackle record this year was Kok and the worst passer was Geduld. However, then came the extra time and SA scored a try and was through to the semi-final against New Zealand.
After a very poor performances against Scotland in the round Robin phase and nearly been beaten by Spain - there was no chance of SA beating NZ in that game. I do not know why - but NZ seems to freeze up whenever they play SA. Thy made a total mess of the game and less than a minute out the Bllitzbokke was 24-7 ahead. The Blitzbokke stopped playing and allowed the NZ players to score a try - so the defenders was not interested.
Now SA is through to the Final and if they beat England in that game they retain the World S eries Cup - since England beat Fiji in the quarters. Amazing really.
