Ai, Shame man! My team finally lost the plot and got severly beaten by the Waratahs.  But, it was to be expected that they too will eventually find the Super Rugby a stiff challenge.  To be fair they did do better than they were expected to if the "experts" can be believed.  A bridge too far this time round but they can sort of hold their heads high.  Other teams like the Lions and the Bulls have had worse seasons than the Kings have had so far.

And then there was the Stormers, eish, if only.... And then there were the Sharks, eish, if only.... And none of these two teams can blame the referee - you have to "read" the ref and play the game - make the CORRECT decisions of when to kick and when not to go for poles, nê sksatties!

And then there were the Bulls who mixed their game again and with Morne now drinking some Sasol and Wynns every night he has found his mo-jo and that is good - Congratulations to those Blue buggers!

Objective truths is a concept we all have some difficulty with.  The best form (for some) seems to be the effectiveness of ridicule as a method to overcome the hurt caused by a team losing.  The thing is that those teams will win again some day.  For a fan, there is not much one can do other than watch and support.  This blaming the officials and players thing is sometimes justified, but by and large it is over-used.  In the end it is but a game, one we dearly love to support in each his own way.

Even on this message board there are posters who have lots of knowledge and can at times post gems.. But then again, we all have our pet hates and dislikes.

So, if some fool wants to diss me for supporting the Kings (Not the bearded{less} wonder), do so to your hearts content; I just hope it makes you feel better deep down inside because you need it!

It is all about the game!  Some other teams have players I admire and I like the way some other teams play because I LIKE RUGBY..

Kalaed, you are probably the only Kings supporter on this site, but that is because they are a new team that people don't know. Their inclusion in the competition was done for political reasons, but the coaches, players and support staff are the same as those of every other franchise. They just want to play and win, and should not be blamed for the politics. I think it is fair to say that the Kings have earned plenty of respect this year. I for one predicted they would be a complete flop, but they have been a very tough team to play, and have surprised many with their results. A lack of depth and experience is starting to cost them, but that is to be expected. Long story short, Kalaed, I respect your loyalty to your team, and long may it remain so. I remember how hard it was to support the Bulls 10 years ago when they couldn't beat an egg....but support them I did, and look what they have achieved since then.

@Bluebok = Respect.  Balanced answer with logic, unlike so many who strike-out because of the hurt inside...
