When Beast/Business and Jannie were scrumming the Sharks dominated massively. Bring on Adriaanse and sub off Jannie and immediately we had neutral scrums. Now what would that tell us?

Jannie is a liability to the Sharks and the Springboks.

Simple answer Moz.......Jannie is a far better tighthead than Adriaanse.

Adriaanse is a solid enough tighthead but I have never understood his elevation to test status......there are better tightheads in Coenie, Malherbe, Marcel v/d Merwe, Nkanyane and Frik Kirsten for instance.

Jannie needs to be managed. Looked tired as the season wore on last year.

His only contribution is scrumming which he appears to be good at. He is however the worst tackler in world rugby

Worst tackler? Goosen has yet to apply any force in any contact situation in 4 tests! I think Jannie is usually better out of the scrum. He has come on nicely though over the years in the scrum which makes a nice change.

Saffex you are spot on with Marcel vd Merwe.
He is the real deal.
