Sharks knock the kings back in wet conditions

The Sharks are looking like a complete package and may be a suprise unit this season. They showed ability in the backs that very few South African sides have shown. Cross kicks, pace , attacking the line, creating space and every single player contributing.

Mcleod needs to up his game some and with Michalak starting at 9 the sharks will have alot of teams guessing.

Viljoen and Jordaan are in for Big seasons.

Jordaan Denny, he is one of those players i had to point out to you. As well as Whitehead , Majeveku were also names you missed. But dont worry yourself, i will take you through the season step by step.

another interesting thing is how good Lambie is at 10. He has the backline singing a sweet song.

From what I could see last year Elton was giving a very good account of himself  - you certainly dont need Lambie for flyhalf as Elton is on  a similar level.

Lambie us a bumbler at 10. He may have looked good against the shoddy Kings, another prospect altogether playing Super and test rugby at 10; both of which he has failed to deliver any meaningful indication of growing into the role. Bosman is the Sharks best 10 right now. The sharks would be better of playing Bosman at 10 and Lambie at 12 given their resources.

Risto, I tend to agree with your: "given their resources". I however agree with Moz as well - I also think Lambie is the best prospect at 15 we had in years! WTH the Sharks bought Riaan is a mystery to me. Lambie is not too bad at 10, but he is waaaay better at 15. @ 12 I have not seen enough.

Had the Sharks not overloaded on wings and fullbacks and at least looked at buying or developing centres I would always 10/10 have Lambie at fullback. With Potgieter there would have been more flexibility as he plays 12 very well. Nobody else of note I'm afraid.

How is it that, even after the RWC, there are still some who believe that Lambie is a better 10 than a 15, let alone being the best 10 available?

People believe what the media tells them. Mostly because they do not trust their own judgement. It's interesting to note studies in psychology on authority and people in real life every day. I have provided video evidence that has proven emphatically certain things I debated, but because the media stated something contrary they couldn't see it in front of their noses! Look how long it took everyone to wake-up and see Pretorius for what he really was. He came onto the scene in 2002 and right up until the 2007 World Cup game against England they derided Butch and backed Pretorius. Lambie has his fans now that see no wrong in him; those same people will be his most vicious critics once another kid comes along and is the flavour of the day. They'll drop him like a stone. Brings back memories doesn't it? Monty? Gaffie? Frans? Schalk? Morne? All attacked in spite of their excellence. Monty too was wasted on the wing and even trialled at 13! Saffers do not understand their players and do not understand how to use them.
