It's wet in Durban and the Bulls lead 8-7 at halftime.

It's a weekend for hookers to score and the two try scorers in the first half were the two hookers, Akker and Dylan Richardson.

Bulls 2 men down and Sharks let them off.

Welcome back Cameron Hanekom, having a fine game for the Bulls. I'd pick him in the #6 jersey for the Boks I reckon. I'd at least give it a try, with Roos at #8 and one of PSdT, Louw or BJD at #7.

Agree with you about Hanekom and also Roos.   Wiese yesterday did an Esterhuizen on the Boks being the two compete to be the  dumbest muscle ever,     Louw and BJD can potentially also play at 8.

Unless  Du Toit is injured or his performance levels drop he is not replaceable yet,

Masuku makes a terrible error not kicking the penalty out but he has had a superb game tonight . . . again.

Masuku kicks a la st minute penalty. Well done Sharks. Hopefully Plum turned a corner here. Sharks win 24-18.

Before I forget, the Bulls fullback Devon Williams looks a very good player. Picked up a hamstring injury in this game but made some really dangerous runs.

Ethan Hooker at 12 for the Sharks won MOM, he had a good game as did Richardson and the Tsituka brothers I like Jordan Hendrikse at 15 for the Sharks Hanekom was great for the Bulls as was Gumede, Papier and Kobus Wiese at 5, Jasper’s younger brother

Dave

Cobus Wise went to play I beleive for Sales Sharks over the last three years.   I thought as a Junior he was very good - and was phenomal in a  Super rugby match against the Crusaders but since I do not watch UK club rugby when SA teams are not involved I lost track of him.   Maybe some comments from you would be appreciated/

Did he play as a loosie or lock for Sale Sharks?

Thaks Daave -I always raed him and not his brother as a player.    He was and is not dumb muscle like his broter is an excellent example of.

I thnk Plumtree at last has been given the players he needed to take the Sharks to te top and te match yesterday hwed his superioity over Whte as a coach.    LOL
