Being a Sharks supporter is rather like being a Les Bleus supporter...irregular logic. They spring surprises...not because they are weaker...in most cases on paper they are stronger but they have this tendancy to contradict the forecasters...happens many times. I do not know why...neither does any body else.
The Sharks are the best team in SA in a traditional format...are the standard but the aggressive young sides are challenging them and have done so far with success...they are like a catalyst....but the facts are that they have suffered inconveniences of injuries.
This is a flip of the traditional coin. I'm sticking my neck out here but a sneaky feeling it just could happen again.
I hope so because I believe "the firm" under Smitty will soon analyse the psych of the the individuals that play here.
Most rugby fans are simplistic...Sharks are good...no bad players...even Bosman is good...Plumtree has made good and bad decisions...Freddie Michalak was good last year (to mention one point) but a few mistakes in between...the rugby critic is often confused because the unknown factor.
Go Sharks...come through back door...make this comp. interesting.
