Sheer genius guitar playing

 I am more a Mark Kopfler fan, but enjoy most kinds of music, started to play guitar myself a few years ago and can tell you the level of talent and commitment necessary to play like these guys are tremendous

There are so many genres of guitar play that it is difficult to decide who is the best, etc, IMO.

I play some guitar myself, as some here know, and I agree 100 % Cera, there is no way to measure which guitarists are best. Clapton and Hendriks are well revered because of the ground they broke, but even I can do pretty much anything either one of them did....BUT, they are great because they lead the way for guys like me to copy and follow. Chuck Berry was great, because, and get this, both The Beatles and Elvis idolised him! Then you have jazz guitarists, heavy metal guitarists, blues guitarists, classical guitarists etc etc, that are all fantastic in their own right, but which cannot be directly compared with one another because different things make each style challenging.

Or this rock cover of a classical piece by Pachelbel by this kid (At the time)! How long could he possibly have been playing for? But look at his skill and speed. He is one of thousands that are playing on the platform laid by the greats! 
You may notice this is a bit of a passion of mine!
