He made no impact whatsoever and was way out of his league again. I trust we will not be seeing him on the field at PE!!

I trust also you will now abandom as a lost cause the idea  of a guy of 95 kg (the lower limit of you loosie benchmark weight. Daniels himslef being 96 kg) being acceptable.

The only posibility one can see is a player like Daniels coming off the bench in a match where your pack is completley dominant. Size has caught up with daniesl as I said it would. So snapster be a wise man and harken unto my good council.

Cannot wait for Vermuelen, Burger and Potgieter to join the Springbok squad.

Coetzee, Alberts, Burger, Vermuelen and Potgieter will be awesome as Springbok loosies be they starters or on the bench. Plus a few more young and upcoming guys from the Stormers and Bulls.

Do miss Smith though, but it appears that he is done as a Bok.

Daniels did seem to be lost out there, but to be fair the whole pack did too at that stage in proceedings. I do think their is space for lighter, quicker fetcher loosies, but it would require a greater commitment to spread the ball. For as long as we are determined to run headfirst into the opposition, you might as well play 8 Alberts. Daniel has proved at Super 15 level that he can create game-changing moments thru his unique skill sets of speed and giule-whether he gets that opportunity at the next level is up to our coach as much as him. I say our obsession with size leads us to overlook many smaller gems.

Sasu

I think pietersen got a tongue-lashing from Meyer - hence the improvement in his game.   His performance in the first test and also Super 15 level was not up to standard and he showed his real potential on Saturday.

Oh what complete rubbish, how on earth can you say he was out of his depth when he did no wrong and is not in the side to bash his way up. The way we dominated that first half is what we should have done in the second with the option of then bringing Daniel on to run wild.

Beenkop as per usual you speak complete rubbish - try get some prespective. Meyer should not have subbed Jannie and Bismark for a start and the loss of Alberts was big. Daniel had nothing to do with it
