Snickersling
Mozart
No comment on your shit necessary.
Nonsense he is an ordinary, old, provincial level lock. Just another one of your big picks who went nowhere Dave. I tried to warn you…but no, Schickerling is this gold nugget Rasmus hasn’t got right.
Then why are you commenting Saaiman….I have zero interest in anything you have to say.
Same counts for Jordan that he must be kept away from the Boks, is nonsense.
Here's context speaking for me personally: I don't watch a lot of provincial rugby. I don't have the time. So I call things on a game to game basis when I do get the time to watch.
Jordan was terrible on Saturday. Not just one or two incidents, constant throughout the game. He
dropped balls in contact, made numerous defensive errors from
positioning to missed tackles. He looked like a complete amateur, not someone who should be anywhere near a Bok side. That's what I call.
I've seen little of Julius. He was hopeless on Saturday, could barely make a tackle. That's what I call.
Or should I sit there watching a game saying "gee that player is something special isn't he?" after he'd just been brushed off like a little kid? What's the point?
Also BJ Dixon where I can clearly remember you guys being happy with his
performance in the beginning. But then after one or two Quiet games he
is shit??
Comparing Louw's last two test performances against Dixon's - Louw looks at home, Dixon looks lost. That may change, but in my experience, great test players usually look at home right away. Some terrific provincial players just never make the step up to test rugby. Simple fact, nothing to get too emotional about. Dixon may still come good. We'll see. Right now Louw looks by far the stronger candidate.
2.24 Gelant fails again to take a simple high ball
5.59 Fails to hold on tackling Ed 9
28.36 2 metres out Gelant drops it on the toe in a clear try scoring position….very poor decision says Jean. Snickering loses the ball in the next phase.. Nel finally scores by going to the line.
35.40 Gelant totally misses his man with a simple offload.
38.16 Gelant gets the ball with Ed in disarray goes outside the lock marking him….all he needs to do is run and pass….but he decides to kick, which effectively cuts off his wing. Another try opportunity botched.
That’s two high balls missed, one tackle missed and two try chances blown with silly kicks.
You mean that kind of excellent?
I’d call Moerat a provincial level lock. Which isn’t terrible, but not one of those guys except perhaps van Heerden looks to me like a possible Bok regular. We anointed Roos, he was the next coming. It didn’t work….move him from provincial rugby to test rugby and he becomes ordinary.
Gelant did nothing good in the first half….and I’m not going through that miserable second half again. Be my guest.
Pakie your take on all those players is utter shit but that is expected
from a clown passing judgement on players having hardly watched any
rugby
Not as big a clown as someone like you ignoring everything he sees while doggedly sticking to preconceived ideas that never change. Make us another list of 100 world beating players who will never succeed at test level you clueless twat, go on.
Okay well, Dave has spoken. Apparently I watch too little rugby to participate here. Fair enough.
Hanekom 243 lbs /6’4”
Ardi Savea 210lbs/6’2”
I think Hanekom will be fine at number 8
"And Pakie with his analytical approach is refreshing and accurate. Definitely Competent."
I agree, I really enjoy them
Dunno about you guys, but I think sounds Pakie seems far more knowledgeable than Dave.
I personally get far more information and technical understanding about certain aspects of the game from Pakie's posts, in comparison to Dave, in fact, you can't even compare the two.
Thanks for the best wishes Davey... I thought there might be a soft limp dick somewhere behind that hard facade
Pakie is far.... far more astute about Rugby than you will ever be, so I was just being genuinely honest....
...it has begun...his neck to tong too?
