Lots of laughter - in talking rubbish - the two are on par!!!   De Villiers was just so much more colourful in that component - Meyer slightly more understandable.   The latter needs PR education though.

I can only indirectly blame Meyer for Greyling's display on Saturday - he has to carry some responsibibility - after all he selected him for the test bench.   Meyer's main problem relates to player selection and the players he trusted most - such as Kirchner and Steyn let him down badly.   He is giving them chance after chance in the hope that they will improve - but they go from bad to worse.   There is no way that after the disaster on Saturday - Greyling will remain in the squad - sio that joke is a a bitter exposure and a thing of the past.

His loyalty to players is admirable - but he has to eventually drop them and I have a feeling it is going to happen sooner rather than later.  Give Meyer a chance - he deserve such - but he has little time to correct the one poor part of his coaching management and that is the deficient player selection.  He may also realize soon enough that he needs a proper backline coach - not the dummy he has at present.

Mike give the guys a chance on test selection. He said he will know by next year championship who the guys are that will take him forward. so judge him on that then. He currently has an interem captain until the end of the Year. Most likely this time next year we will have a different captain and a different team.

Yes Greyling made some really bad choices on the field. But it's a bit unfair blaming Heyneke for those choices he didn't make them. how is he to know what choices Dean Greyling will make on the field, he does not have precognition. Even though Greyling should not have been there it does not take anything away from the fact that he made those choices not Heyneke, so balme Greyling not HM.

On another more positive note. Our forwards in general looked much better on saturday.

forwards were better because we won the breakdown area so our bigger forwards had more momentum.

we still need brussouw in the team sorry to say. meyer should really talk to wp management and try to get louw back in SA. we need him as a backup to brussouw. good to have depth in the opensider role

in terms of the backline we are shockingly bad some really school boy type errors and running lines. cant really say it anyway than the backline needs another coach. really really poor. we need to take it into perspective the AB played poorly but we should have taken it.

The two are not even close. Peter is the worst test coach there has ever been. Quite easily the worst coach I have ever seen in any sport. He had the best team in Bok history and lost 18-0 on home soil with his delusional garbage. When the heat was on, he blamed Jake, the players, society, apartheid, the Super rugby coaches, the UK (I never quite got that one), and then turned on his assistants. In the end Nienaber had to do a massive overhaul on the WC year just to give the Boks half a chance.

Meyer on the other hand has inhereted a huge void. Many legends and greats are gone, and no building work was ever done over the past four years! Smit, Matfield, Bakkies, Rossouw, Fourie, Du Preez, Steenkamp, Juan... all gone. And all of them true greats of the game. But now we must draw comparisons between Meyer and Peter? Peter had two of the worst TNs campaigns in history. Not only did he destroy our conditioning, discipline, attack, but also regressed the team to the worst defensive Bok side in history! At least our wings score tries now. Look at the massive drought we had under Peter. Not only that, our forwards routinely outscored our backs. 2010 and 2011 saw the forwards being top try scorers in the TNs, and 2009 was closer to even. Some perspective needs to be fathomed here. The only real problem Meyer has done is ommit Brussow and retain Jean. Aside from that, he needs to get a better backline coach. The rest just takes time.

Ou pdv was a nutter and extremely funny.

I was delighted at the performance of the loose trio and confident  Meyer will not change it. Jean should be retained for the remaing games and should not go on the year end tour but take a good rest.

Just change the half backs and 15. Flip and Etzebeth our locks.

Coenie perhaps off the bench for now.

Man it is looking so much better!
