This kid needs to go to a personal trainer to give him the confidence to  make a bog standard rugby leg tackle....he can't survive at 13 with that effeminate jersey grabbing.

Stupid is gona be pissed. Final game of the year and he didnt get to see his 2013 dream team of Hougaard, Jantjies, Rhule, Mnisi, JJ, Sergeal Petersen and Le Roux play.

I see has has dedicated a nice long passage to me under the "positives against Scotland" thread but I cant reply there for some reason. He calls me out for not being objective but rather prejudicial and wrong about JJ.

Well fatness, I am glad I was "so wrong" that Meyer and the rest of the Bok brains trust seem to be aligned with what I and the rest of us are thinking.

Dont worry too much about involving Beeno at this stage. The man still thinks SA have won 4 from 4 against NZL in the past two years. I do agree with him that we did deserve to win in Dunedin and we have played well enough to win but fact remains, we have not and will not with guys like upright JJ playing against them.

Meyers selection are perplexing at times. Here we have 4 locks selected and Alberts who can play lock. Do we really need 5 players to cover lock. Sure Du Toit can cover 7 if Meyer doesnt want to play Kolisi but then choose Marcell.Out with Bakkies and in with JJ I say. JJ will have good defenders either side of him and guiding him and he will be good enough on defence. Thereafter we could have a dangerous backline particulary when he comes off the bench later in the game when there is more space available.
JJ will be back be sure of that. A superb prospect. I think it reasonable at this point in time to have doubts about Bakkies making to 2015 and Meyer is simply using his mentorship and the fact he can still play a reasonable 50 minutes or so. Kitshoff will replace Steenkamp next year. By 2015 most of the older players will not be there. Du Preez could make it and the jury is out on Jaque. Allende also is rising fast. Jaque will have to do more than we have seen thus far to keep JJ and Allende at bay.
Indeed bok logic we could well have won 3 of the last four tests against NZ (I said 3 of the last 4 not 4 out of four). Mike and Sbapster have a right to be concerned if some of Meyers picks must be thought of as 2015 squad members. Doubt they all are. Those writing of JJ, Jan and Taute need to take up knitting classes! Daft as hatters to write of these youngsters. The mind boggles!

Well Moz I cant help the fact that we have an idiot for a coach who wants a donkey at 13.

Last I checked, JJ's tackling stats against Oz and NZ were better than Jean's, so something tells me you are speaking shit about his defence. Either that or Jean is a weaker defender - take your pick.

Meyer has confirmed on this tour that he is a lost cause, he is worse than Jake.

If you think Fourie did enough in the two tests to retain his spot, you are lying to yourself, particularly since you have been Fourie's biggest basher over the years.

If two tests and 11m gained, zero defenders beaten and no clean breaks made against Wales's second choice centres and Scotland does it for you and Meyer then who am I to argue.

Fourie's stats with ball in hand are a disgrace and an insult to the Bok 13 jersey.

Dave I don't rate Fury...never have. But he has some sense of what's happening. JJ has zero feel for the position and about the worst tackling technique of any Bok centre I have seen. So reluctantly I have to give the nod to Fury.

Fourie is a mesomorph but JJ is an ectosmurf. So then why play the frail one in the most difficult defensive position on the field? Saffex is a coach I hear? Goodluck with that!

Wow Moz, if JJ is the worst, what does that make of Jean?

Sun, and as a coach, Fourie would not be featuring as my 5th choice test 13 right now.

Well if Fourie is 5th choice, what does that make JJ davey crockett?

Please dont say, "As a coach!" You are a coaches arse Davey. Please say, "If I knew anything about the game and was a coach!"

Have you sobered up a bit ol' sport ;-)

Chicken..Thats grand coming from a bloke who supposedly hands out his number like a tough guy but then watches the phone ring or makes some bullshit excuse that witheld numbers are blocked on his mobile..Here's a thought. Reverse the block if there is one dumbshit but in your case, the phone rang on about 10 times so there was no block. You watched it ring.

Maybe I got you in between dopping sessions so you were not as brave as when you have some karate juice in you.
