Dave
I am not surprised to see Serfontein doing well when coached by Venter and Smith, Meyer killed any potential backline play with his non-existent game plan. Coetzee ws as bad as Meter was - and the present scenario changed the negative backline play used in the period 2012 to 2016.
I wonder how many backline players careers Meyer, Coetzee and Ludeke ruined in their coaching careers. I think under proper coaching Pollard will also start to show his real talent ruined by Meyer - especially since he would not be replaced by a stand-in flyhalf in the form of a loosie or other forward.
By the way Mitchell is taking over as Director of Rugby at the Bulls this month and he has been running the show by e-mail. You could already see the difference in the game last weekend.

I particularly enjoyed Stampkar's contribution in the second test.....one of his finer games.

This Mozart deals with SA Players - not the Lions test. I know you are a total rugby illiterate and cannot understand the difference - it is advisable if you start another thread and stop your idiocy in this case.

Actually no....it deals with the subject of Dave's picks. Your participation is largely irrelevant as always.

Mozart
You are too rugby illiterate to make any comments on real rugby players - so why are you always looking for opportunities to display your ignorance?
The dummies you supported in the past is endless so why do you always try and pick arguments on issues you know nothing about?

But why raised it here - and although Stander was on the Lions bench, he was not used. So why bring this one up?
Mozart is a troublemaker and a sh!t stirrer - that is why he always divert attention on a thread to something else.

No point in reasoning with Tokkie......humourless, angry and bottom of the Make Believe rugby barrel. Gosh maybe that's why is so pissed off all the time. LMAOFY!

Why do you always stir and not discuss the topic raised in a threat. You may think it is funny - nobody else does. To constantly make personal demeaning remarks and commenting with BS is definitely not funny, .

Dave's actually referring to his picks in the Goats team. Duh!!!!
Last I checked, Stander the Magnificent wasn't in the Bok mix.

Some of your picks are doing really well, Dave. Jantjies in particular has found his much needed confidence and I hope it will carry over to the last remaining SR matches. We need him to step up and step up big time.
Serfontein's natural ability has come through ... at last. It's taken an age for him to mature. I think that we may see a lot more of it under Mitchell. He will be tested against the whining Kiwis.
Jesse Kriel is useless. I wouldn't have him in my squad. Both Vorster and Janse van Rensburg are VASTLY better centers and should have been in the Goats mix last season already.
Marcell Coetzee is a good player but he's no Whiteley. He had his opportunities at test level to show us his skills. Sadly he wasn't really good enough to have left his mark as someone special.
Much rather have Du Preez at 8 than him .

Absolutely Dave.....he made the bench, still in doubt whether he will get off the bench though! I was wrong about him not making the bench, and I suppose if O Brien got banned for what looked like a deliberate stiff arm, he would probably have played.
