So how bad was Nienaber….

….finally at the point where he had to change the Harrassmus formula he produced some real Springbok rugby. We ran the ball in the opponents half and dominated the breakdowns. NZ made the laughably stupid mistake of dropping Blackadder to the bench while retaining Ioane, which helped our breakdown cause.

No we didn’t need Dud Toit and  Harrassmus….we could have done with Kolbe though. 

New Zealand’s pack frankly is sub standard. Their front row was under pressure. Retallik was dominated….and only Savea was really best in position for the pack. Looking towards the WC they have some real issues.

Behind the pack Havili is not top class and Mo’anga’s game cracked under pressure. Is he really the force he is made up to be? Jordie Barrett had another great game though and Reece was a live wire.

The Boks have huge resources up front and all we need is a top notch backline coach to cash in  on all the good ball. 

Yep, biggest difference today was that we stop kicking everything away and played some rugby. And the physical dominance in the second half was immense. A few carries into contact and you could almost bank on the ABs getting turned over or conceding penalties.

We need to continue playing like this on the YE tour….focusing on the rugby, the last thing we need is another Harrassmus soap opera.

No the joke is you….you claimed Harrassmus had no input on the prior 3 games.

Okay so a phone link is no substitute…..so the improvement today can be credited to Nienaber’s account.

For the record I think they talked extensively about selections and tactics, but inevitably the longer that Harrassmiss was missing, the more Nienaber had to fill in the gaps.

If nothing else today proved Hun doesn’t have to be there for the Boks to play their best test in years.

As I said about 2 weeks ago on here, at some point, Nienaber deserves the  credit, but whether he would be given that credit, is something else entirely

Agreed Dave, they do work extremely well together, as has been successfully proven before with their history of working as a team

In my opinion, we should be 2 - 0 against the All Blacks...… but I will take 1 - 1

Especially the first Oz test. That we really should have won...Oz usually lift their game when they play us, especially in Brisbane, but we should have won the other one...having said that Oz have the makings of a good team...the losses against NZ were a bit deceptive,  they are better than that. Next year will be closer.

The Boks did enough to win the last test, but were otherwise comprehensively outplayed. The stats don't lie. The Boks are a poor side. If the All Blacks don't play such lethargic rugby in the second encounter, lets be honest, we don't win that one either. This is not a top class team, and they haven't played quality rugby all year. 

Every time the much maligned Boks win a match, we get O&O telling us it's because the opposition were so poor. So now we have the worst English team in history, the worst British Lions in history and the worst All Blacks in history.

I wonder if O&O actually realise how stupid they look? Oh well, whatever else, i t's funny to see the lengths these two clowns will go to to pretend they haven't got egg dribbling down their faces.
