….finally at the point where he had to change the Harrassmus formula he produced some real Springbok rugby. We ran the ball in the opponents half and dominated the breakdowns. NZ made the laughably stupid mistake of dropping Blackadder to the bench while retaining Ioane, which helped our breakdown cause.
No we didn’t need Dud Toit and Harrassmus….we could have done with Kolbe though.
New Zealand’s pack frankly is sub standard. Their front row was under pressure. Retallik was dominated….and only Savea was really best in position for the pack. Looking towards the WC they have some real issues.
Behind the pack Havili is not top class and Mo’anga’s game cracked under pressure. Is he really the force he is made up to be? Jordie Barrett had another great game though and Reece was a live wire.
The Boks have huge resources up front and all we need is a top notch backline coach to cash in on all the good ball.
