I personally have to agree, Hougaard is a liability at the base. How many times this season did he get caught with ball in hand or got charged down.

du Preez has shown nothing to suggest he is better and Pienaar has just been damn poor - he is far too passive

du Preez is up there but what's the point given he has nothing new to offer and offers nothing with ball in hand. Nice service and a good boot - do we really need that?
Rubbish, Hougaard's pass is just as good as du Preez, yes they cant compare in the kicking stakes but to be frank I don't want to see a Bok 9 with a boot for the last thing we need to do is kick anymore ball away.
du Preez cannot begin to compare with Hougaard with ball in hand and to say that Hougaard has made no breaks lately is just complete bullshit.
Part of Hougaard's rejuvenation this season is that we have seen the odd break come back into his game.
