because they dont have many players in the Bok set-up. Well why should there be, given the fact that the best Stormers players are injured, not available or selected. Get some perspective man.

Jean, Habana and Etzebeth are selected.

Kitshoff is not available as he is with the Baby Boks

Bekker, Schalk, Joe, Carr and Vermeulen are injured.

As Bok coach would you select average players like Brok Harris, Liebenberg or de Kock Steenkamp - NO

Meyer recognises the fact that small players dont play a part in modern test rugby so why would he select little guys like de Jongh and Aplon - he has this spot on, besides Aplon is in his 30's, time to move on.

That leaves Grant and Duvenhage, both could have been selected, but why select Grant and Morne, you have to go with one and a young kid like Jantjies who brings flair to the role. Duvehage could have been selected ahead of Vermaak, but neither will feature in the test 22 and Duvehage is no better than Vermaak.

v/d Heever has played very little rugby this year and seems to have lost strides since moving to the Cape.

The real disappointing omissions from the Stormers in my view are Elstadt and Kolisi, but Kolisi is in the frame as is the impressive Malherbe given they will train with the Boks.

So all in all Elsatdt is the only real missing point - he should have been in ahead of Alberts, Kankan or Franco v/d Merwe

I prefer small and gutsy and talented....to big and gutless and mediocre. Are you sticking to your prediction the Boks will lose against the Poms....Morne and Jean will be playing.

So who are the big, gutless and mediocre?

Are there any of these small, gutsy and talented players playing at wing, centre and fullback for NZ, Oz, England, Wales, France or Ireland?

I said we would lose if Meyer selected conservatively, he has done well, we wont have du Preez, de Jongh and Aplon in the side - so I back Meyer and his good squad to beat the Poms, now that the squad has been announced.

Morne and Jean will stifle the process but I guess their days as Boks will be short lived. Once Goosen is fit, Morne will be history and it wont be long before Meyer realises Jean will not work at 13.

Am loving the Meyer way, under him we will move up the rankings, its plain to see
